Thinking about the werewolf from the hate mail Lemgo council pharmacist David Welman (1595 - 1669) got after being accused of being a werewolf
it's so fucking cute. That war wlf is frolicking
Someone drew this in anger, they drew this and said "look at what a terrible beast you are"
rarepairs r so funny because you'll be part of the rarepair group n you'll be like. okay but look at all this stuff that makes them make sense and from the outside you look like youre holding a conspiracy board with dots and string n everyone is like ohh wow.. okay.... umm.. if u say so.... but when youre IN the rarepair group youre like no listen look. its obvious. look at this. look. there are famous ships with less substance than this
HINT: you can move my white ass using the arrow keys.

– Frans de Waal’s The Bonobo and the Atheist
I mean that’s sweet but he bit her goddamn finger off
yeah, but he was sowwy!
Man that probably sucks, trapped having the emotional maturity to recognize when they’ve permanently hurt someone but not the ability to understand in advance how to—oh wait humans do that too, it’s basically the classic human condition
If you can’t think of anything to say about a fic, writers also like to know:
- what time it is
- how long you’ve been reading
- how many chapters you’ve covered in the last 24 hours
- what you were late for because you were reading
- the woeful few hours you have left to sleep
- the emotional outbreaks you’re experiencing
- the inappropriate place you’re having said outbreak
- the general public’s reaction to your outbreak
- how much phone battery you have left
after reading a bunch of classical literature i’ve decided to revive the concept of knighthood all by myself
who the fuck is donkey hotay
it's funny because my job involves a lot of using a box cutter, so you'd think that's the thing I'd accidentally hurt myself with the most
but nooo no no no. the box cutter is my colleague, my ally, my friend. you know what is truly bloodthirsty in a print & signage shop? literally Anything Else that's able to cut but not supposed to. cardboard, sheets of plastic, the humble paper of course, corrugated polypropylene, aluminum composite sheets - i nicked myself on a sheet of magnetic material today?? it bled. kinda profusely.
basically:
box cutter: a trusty companion, might hurt you if you handle it wrong, but that's understandable
stuff you use the box cutter on: they know you as their enemy. they know the rules of this life: kill, or be killed. they know what they have to do.
thank you. the people need to know about the real menace
so, they didn’t want players killing kids in the new lego star wars, so they made them immune to friendly fire damage, but they didn’t make them invincible, so now speedrunners are doing extended air combos on them to cross large gaps and climb tall structures. this has been dubbed Child Flight
“Sorry kid this will shave 10 minutes off my run”
I stg I could come on here and be like “everyone should try to be nice” and somebody I the notes would be like op you don’t understand I have Terminal Meanie Disorder and this hurt my feelings 🥺
“Op is a misogynist because they haven’t considered the societal pressure to be nice that’s disproportionately placed on women.”
“So we should be nice to BAD PEOPLE? We should be nice to NAZIS and let them do whatever they want?”
“Haha what a funny exaggerated post”
I could tag the people who put identical responses to these on my posts but I’d be drawn and quartered.
It’s not bad reading comprehension anymore it’s bad faith.
i was seeing all these little blue flowers everywhere and kept thinking "dang what are these bitches, i can't remember..." well guess what. they were fuckin forget-me-nots. can't believe i failed step fucking 1, the hot girls on iNaturalist are going to laugh at me and i'm gonna flunk out of hobby botany school.
!!! Learn From My Humiliation!!! THESE ARE THE BITCHES!!!! DO NOT FORGET THEM !!!!

In the DC universe there's a petition with over five hundred thousand signatures asking Batman to let Robin represent the USA on the male gymnastic team
I think that the banana on the wall has caused irreparable harm to discussions of modern art and its merit as an art form because everytime someone brings up what they like about modern art, the anti-modern art crowd point to that fucking banana and use it to say that it is a low effort worthless style of art
Like I get it, it's a statement about how art has become low effort and meaningless, but it has become a representation of every issue that people have with modern art. When you try to explain that Who's Afraid of Red, Yellow and Blue (shown below) is a piece with merit and immense amounts of effort put into it, the anti modern art people can just point to the banana and use that as proof that modern art is lazy and degenerate
is this satire?
No, I love modern art
The notes get 0 stars in reading comprehension
Too many people will pass around "always trust your gut!" and "your intuition never lies" content when actually your "intuition" isn't immune to either propaganda, bigotry or trauma reactions. Which is important to be aware of actually
the number one rule for watching star trek the original series is that you CANNOT under any circumstances go into an episode expecting it to be Good. if it ends up being one of the Good ones, this is purely coincidence and you should not expect it to happen again. the main takeaway from any tos episode should be that it could've stood to lose maybe 20 minutes of runtime, and that's part of the charm. you HAVE to understand this to make the most of it.
they should give me the bachelors degree for being a kind soul
