I really hate the way Stephanie didn’t write Charlie in new moon helping Bella like.

More than anyone at that moment he understands breakup. He understands someone not coming back and taking everything from you, everything you knew.

He understands the nightmares and the loneliness and yet she makes him react so indifferent to it like a oh classic girl breakup it scares me get help.

Yes he’s sweet about the nightmares and we love that but, there’s so much more to it.

Like no. And maybe I’m projecting myself into this bc it my comfort breakup movie.

And that was a perfect time as well for them to bond. Charlie showing her the things he did to recover, and perhaps that’s how he took up fishing because it would keep his mind off of it. And they’d do it together or find a hobbie alike for her. But no. He was absolutely not there (in the movie) and only just for the nightmares.

Stephanie you might not have a deep relationship with your dad but you don’t need to make Charlie’s and bellas so superficial and have no absolute taste.
