Update on Life: Pregnancy and Babies!
Hey world,
So, as very few of you may know, I have been pregnant for the last several months. I am at 35 weeks now, so next week I will have been pregnant for 9 full months. (Technically, pregnancy is 10 months, hence 40 weeks of it). We are having a baby girl, we decided to name her Violet. I think it is adorable! I'm so excited but soooo very nervous at the same time. I just hope everything goes well with labor and delivery, as well as the baby turning out healthy and no issues. Whatever happens, this will be part of my life journey!
I thought I would write this to not only update you all on my life and how things are going, but also to welcome advice and tips.
For all those women out there who have given birth, what techniques did you do to lose your pregnancy weight? I started out at 115 before pregnancy, then got very sick the first trimester and lost some weight, I then weighed 96 pounds (although I am only 4'11" / 5'0" tall, so for as short as I am I was still considered not underweight yet). I eventually got better, no more hyperemesis gravidarum pregnancy sickness and I was back on track with my pregnancy weight gain. Throughout my entire pregnancy I have gained over 50 pounds now, I now weigh 156 lbs and for my height that's very overweight. My doctor was concerned last week so I've been more careful so that I don't end up high risk at the last few weeks left.
I would really love to easily get back to anywhere from 102 to 115 lbs after having the baby. Any advice on what are some good exercises for someone that doesn't normally exercise? Or perhaps something I could gradually build up to? Also, recommended food diets? All advice are welcome and greatly appreciated. Feel free to share some of your pregnancy and newborn baby experiences, too!
That's all I needed to ramble on about today, so that's it for now. I hope you all enjoy my posts and future posts. I will be using this more often for writing my thoughts and such. So signing off. Goodnight. :)
