theres a trump supporter in my media arts major and sometimes my professor will ask him something simple like "whats the difference between ethics and the law" and he'll (i kid you not) say shit like "uhhh its like. honestly i thought that was like the same thing" and then my professor will give the rest of the class a mischievous knowing look
i'm not an updates blog sorry i don't mean to steal anyone's job but the liked comments were too good on this one
dan and phil publicly forgiving their audience for ripping their private life apart. chronically closeted dan following that up by asking "phil do YOU forgive me for years of dealing with my bullshit?" and phil saying he doesn't need to forgive him. literally peace and love on phanet earth
Is the guy in the cuck chair supposed to stay quiet or is he allowed to clap and cheer
he's supposed to take notes and make an intrigued hum when an interesting plot point occurs
I can fix him [drill sound] [screaming] [chainsaw revving]
ok yay

I think we as a society don't hate ads enough. We can always hate them more you know.
playing dnd with my dads cishet friends blows because theyre way too into combat mechanics and dont understand that youre supposed to be having fun but on the other hand i play giant nonbinary firbolg necromancer named pickles mcburgersson who has orange hair and keeps resurrecting the enemies we kill and then gives them therapy and its baffling to all of these forty something men who have never actually had fun playing dnd
two human fighters, one elf wizard and a dwarf cleric (all white with names like eric von broghson and all of their backstories include dead daughters and a dragon) and pickles mcburgersson the bighuge nonbinary necromancer and their seven undead orcs dealing with childhood trauma having a party discussion
happy almost 5 years to this post i made when i was 15 that got grown adults sending me death threats because im “ruining the dnd culture of play”. someone told me to die of aids because of pickles mcburgersson
Izzy singing a song from the 1940s in the 1700s is peak historical accuracy, no notes
When Izzy first walked out I was worried that he would be made into a joke that the crew would laugh at
but then he started singing and the dancing began and I realized that he wasn’t meant to be a joke at all. This is the most open and happy we’ve ever seen Izzy and the show treated it that way. Not mocking him but instead celebrating this moment.
When we talk about queer representation it’s usually just focused on queer relationships, but what I love about this episode is it shows other sides of being queer. That moment where Izzy saw Wee John doing his makeup and had a realization that he wanted that too? That is what being queer means to me. The crew singing along and cheering for him? That is what being apart of the queer community means to me.
What i love about this show is that it shows queer joy, not in a sanitized way, but in away that is messy, beautiful, and without any mockery or shame.
