that one extremely homoerotic painting of a babylonian man listening to a babylonian twink playing babylonian harp. that one
yeah
this is my favorite painting full stop
that âbabylonian twinkâ is King David
The baffled twink composing Hallelujah
Iâm tagging this as Jumblr for reasons (King David shaped ones) but apologize for any psychic Damage that came from someone calling King David a Babylonian Twink.

What do you think of trans women? Personally as a trans woman I think there are no words in the english language to describe how amazing we are
I think you're great and trans women are always the best at choosing names??? I met a trans woman once whose name was Aphrodite. Straight up. Killer name if you ask me
More details about Aphrodite: I met her and her girlfriend in line for an LGBT club the Christmas before the pandemic. She was so stunning. She was tall, her bone structure was like that of a Greek statue, and she had this gorgeous long curly hair that just looked so healthy and shiny. I've never seen healthier looking hair in my life. Her makeup was subtle but unmistakably glittery. She approached me to tell me that my eyeshadow was gorgeous and asked me where I got it. Inside the club she then told me I was the most beautiful woman on earth and vanished into the night.
I donât think you just met a trans woman I think you met the actual fucking Aphrodite
And I will never forget her.
This means Aphrodite is a trans woman
She's Latina too since I'm Brazilian and this happened near my hometown!
Aphrodite also spoke just.. so calmly. Like she knew without a shadow of a doubt that eventually everything was gonna be ok. She gave me a feeling of peace.
When she told me I was beautiful she didn't just go "OMG YOU'RE SO PRETTY". Instead, she approched me at the bar inside the club, looked at me for a few seconds, smiled fondly, twirled a piece of my hair not flirtatiously, but like a grandmother who hasn't seen their grandchild in ages, and said to me in Portuguese "você Ê linda de parar o coração" (aka, "you're beautiful enough to stop a heartbeat"), gave me another smile, and then disappeared- never to be seen again.
No you literally met Aphrodite
That was Aphrodite without a doubt
sorry but if your bed isnât against at least one wall youâre not valid
I used to think this post was stupid because most people like both sides of the bed free but then I realized some psychopaths put their bed like this so not even the headboard is against a wall and this post is about these animals.
A single personâs bed is generally against 2 walls, a coupleâs bed is generally against 1 wall, and people with 0 walls have no fear of the dark/unseen with direct access to their head, and therefore cannot be human.
ok the bed just out in the middle of the room is bad but have you considered: only the footboard end against a wall
no i hadnât. why would you put that image into my head?
Okay, but how is this
Iâm at a loss for words
This was the bed of Thomas Jefferson.Â
STay out of my study unless you intend to have sex with me

If youâre an adult, do the stuff you couldnât as a kid.
Like, me and my sister went to a museum, and they had an extra exhibit of butterflies. But it cost ÂŁ3. So we sighed, walked past, then stopped. We each had ÂŁ3. We could see the butterflies. And we did it was great. We followed it up with an ice-cream as well because Mum and Dad werenât there to say no.
I was driving back from a work trip with 2 other people in their early 20s, and we drove past a MacDonalds. One of the others went âAww man, Iâd love a McFlurry.â And the guy driving pulled in to the drive through. It was wild. But it was great.
I went to a park over the weekend and I was thinking âMan, Iâd love to hire one of those bikes and cycle round the park.â It took me a few minutes to go âWait, I can hire one of those bikes!â
I guess what Iâm saying is, those impulsive things you wanted to do as a kid - see the dinosaur exhibit, play in the fountains with the other kids, lie in the shade for 2 hours - you can do when youâre an adult. You have to deal with a whole lot of other bull, but at least you can indulge your inner 8 year-old.
straight boys often have literally no idea how makeup works, itâs absolutely fucking wild like they really think itâs ALL lipstick and eyeshadow??? iâll mention wearing makeup (iâm a gay dude) n theyâll be like âso you do drag?â and iâm âuh no i actually wear it to look more masculine if anythingâ and theyâll look SO fucking confusedÂ
âiâm literally wearing makeup right now,â iâll say.
âwhat?? no youâre not!!!â they all vehemently insist, now searching for the Femininity in my face.
âi have concealer on to cover up my acne and make my whole face less red in general, my eyebrows are filled in to make them look bushier, and iâve contoured my cheekbones, my jawline, and around my eyes all to look more defined so i look both more masculine and older. yall have never seen, and WILL never see me without makeup on.â
and even with that explanation, they remain baffled more often than not. theyâve gone their whole lives only knowing that makeup is a Girly Substance with no thought given to the actual purpose of each type of makeup, to the point that theyâre completely unable to conceptualize it as a thing that could alter your face in a non-feminine way. theyâll have expressions that make it seem like their brain is rebooting so that they donât actually have to process any of that information.
itâs so fucking sad tbh
i think golf should be punishable by death
It destroys ecosystems, pollutes waterways with pesticides, strips out local plants and replaces them with a monoculture, needs to be watered, takes up land in cities which could be uses for housing or food production AND itâs played by rich white assholes
So Nazis.
Hereâs the thing that I donât get.
Indiana Jones. Great character, hates Nazis. Punches and kills his way through them. Still loved by all.Â
Everyone loves Batman! Doesnât like Nazis.Â
Wonder Woman, showing people how itâs done.Â
Even the villains donât tolerate Nazis!Â
Like, the Joker is seen as one of the most notorious villains in the DC-verse, and he just is about to beat the shit out of the Red Skull.Â
More examples:Â
And just the sheer amount of times Captain America, literally a character to signify the freedom of the US of fucking A, has punched Nazis is bordering the line of excessive.Â
So all of this media ranging from different decades and companies have all endorsed Nazi punching. However, as soon as this happens:
Everyone loses their shit! âViolence begets violence!â âThat isnât the way to do itâ âHow dare he attack that man!â âDonât put out fire with fire!â âYouâre just as bad as them if youâre violent!âÂ
But hereâs the thing. It interrupts their platform. It shows that they are not invincible. It shows that they are not protected. It shows that they are going to be held accountable for their spouts of hate disguised as freedom of speech. It shows that there are consequences for their words.Â
Iâm not saying that Iâm going to seek out Nazis just to punch them, but Iâm not going to stop anyone whoâs doing it either.Â
Does art imitate life or does life imitate art? Either way, we should be punching more Nazis.Â
and remember kids the most important lesson of all
And letâs not forget the incredibly recent film Inglourious Basterds, which took home buckets of nominations and awards, and which openly glorifies the murder and mutilation of Nazis.
But punch a Nazi IRL? Suddenly the same guys who claim to adore Tarantino arenât quite so thrilled.
s/o to everyone who is still tryin to heal from things that they donât talk about
*gets abducted by aliens* thank you. you have no idea how much i hated living on that planet
shakespeare is not pretentious. fans of shakespeare are pretentious. shakespeare is twelve hundred dirty jokes strung together by increasingly ridiculous plotlines and increasingly homosexual characters. donât let the archaic language fool you
