decided i wanted a sideblog to post palletshipping fic/snippets of fic too short for ao3 (same handle, kantosableye), take prompts/requests, interact w other palletshippers, shitpost etc.

current project is a longfic slowburn that i intend to start posting once i have a few chapters written.

current fatal flaw is that i am not caught up on the anime like, at all, and i tend to think in terms of kanto/johto/sinnoh eras. also im in law school and have a million deadlines at any given point in time

prompt/request rules: no rules apply, but prompts are not guaranteed responses. show good judgment i guess?

artists and writers please reject thinking you need to regularly create ‘content’ (unless you have a patreon or something, and even then, not fully…) content is a business term for social media. content isn’t the reason you began making your art. you may burn yourself out thinking you need to regularly create and share what you create and capture the moment with your art for maximum engagement from others. that is not a sustainable way to create. value the creative underground growth period and honour the time it takes to bring something into being with carefulness and thought as to what you are expressing

given that there is pokeshipping discourse on my dash (throwback). i do hope in the finale thing there is no revealed endgame ash ship, if he has a kid he's a single dad etc. but given the extreme unlikelihood of the showrunners making ash canonically eljibbity, if they must do an endgame ship i lowkey do hope it's misty.

actually wait if they have to do an endgame the best het option would be to do some completely random one-off character that everybody forgot about bc they were in literally 1 episode and never mentioned again. second best would be misty.

on one hand like..........Gary being a kid bully taken to make him a badass dick alpha as he gets older isn't my fave characterization, you see him mellow out and in contrast w a rival like paul (have not seen all of d&p so I'm sure I'm missing backstory) he clearly cares abt people, pokemon, etc, and a lot of times it gets to feeling like what h*rry p*tter fans did w draco malfoy. like draco in leather pants gary is not my fave. but also dark!gary is really fun to play with. i think he just has to be like kinda pathetic in the way where like, if you're in the situation it's intimidating but as an onlooker it's just like "wow that guy has something wrong with him." does this make any sense .
