INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE x COVERS (one, two, three, four)
So I’m rewatching iwtv season one after finishing the second season, and the funniest thing in the world to me is that Lestat literally freezes an entire room of people, and Louis’ response is just “oh, he has tricks.” Bro was so down bad that he saw a beautiful man doing literal mind control, and he was like “not thinking too deep into that, he must be a street magician or something.”
Armand's evil mastermind plan be like:
1. Imprison Lestat, torture him, starve him
2. Keep pretending to be Louis's boyfriend while planning his, Claudia and Madeleine's murder because he doesn't love me enough and I hate successful lesbians
3. Rehearse play with Lestat like old times
4. Kill Lestat's babies
5. Marry Lestat
6. Plan failed
7. New plan. Marry Louis
8. Plan failed
9. New plan. Marry Daniel
10. Plan successful. Third time's the charm!
I like to imagine, that in the final vampire after life, Claudia and Madeline have a little house, where the sun shines and doesn’t hurt them to stand in it,
Madeline shows Claudia the vision of how she’s always seen her, in the soft afternoon glow that they could have never stood in before now.
Madeline sits for hours listening to Claudia speak about any and everything, while she gardens, she’s decided to put in some reddish orange flowers this season, because it makes her think of Madeline’s hair when it hits the sun.
Madeline is working on new sketches of a dress Claudia has always wanted, every detail down to the small golden zipper on the side. Madeline makes a wardrobe full of all the dresses and clothes Claudia wanted but never got.
Claudia often finds herself, her head in Madeline’s lap, a book open, reading out loud as she and Madeline sit on the grass, the tree just enough shade to keep them from being too warm, the breeze just enough to have the smell of the flower beds by the fence waft over to them.
Madeline finds her self stroking Claudia’s hair a bit, just slightly scratching her scalp, loving to listen to Claudia speak. It’s her favorite thing next to seeing her smile.
They are happy, and safe, and for the first time, they have no worries, no fears, they simply live in a paradise that’s just them, and even after the final death, it could not take them from the other.
They sometimes wonder about Louis and Lestat and even Armand, the anger and hurt have subsided but are still present, but sometimes Claudia will remember the happier moments, the good moments, the days when it wasn’t just anger or hurt, the days when she felt truly happy with her fathers and her once maître of the theater company.
They live together, never tiring never needing for anything.
Claudia and her immortal companion
Madeline and her coven
Madeline and Claudia eparvier, soulmates until the very end and beyond.
"I Could Not Prevent It"
You're laughing. The Vampire Armand is trapped in a play-pen (which poses the same level of risk to him as Sam with a scythe did) and you're laughing.
Is this the same guy? I'm bad with faces but if he is, this means that we have in the coven someone who knew Lestat not as in the book where all have left and Armand is the only one that actually knows Lestat
this is mostly a Nicki rant of this season, I want to share what I have recollected from the last episodes
The plays have been played for 150 years which means that these are the scripts made by Nicky and they have just been updated so all we see in the scenery are Nicky's plays and music.
Also IMO, after Armand's "tale" of what happened in the 18th century is kinda weird that he kept using Nicky's plays until the end of the theater and that they truly share the same coven for almost 100 years after Lestat "left" them especially as jealous as Nicky seems.
In the Talamasca files, the folder for Nicolas has the dates 1780-1882 which means that, in the series, Nicky lived over a century much longer than his book counterpart. For me, this put the timeline for Lestat's actions, which made him go to New Orleans, similar as in the book. Lestat receives the violin and letter of Nicky's death possibly his time down earth is longer this time before Marius finds him and following his advice starts his travel to the new world.
armand: i only took nicki as part of my 4d chess plan to get lestat to break up the coven for me i barely believed in any of that. also my coven just threw themselves into the fire, i didnt even do anything. and then lestat said he loved me and he was leaving nicki for me and we fucked publicly in our fancy box as co-owners of a really cool and classy new theater coven
I never cried from laughing as hard as I did when this moment happened because it was when I really felt the wattpad fic that Armand was writing and narrating to my best friend Daniel.
SURE, ARMAND. Whatever you say, angel. You were so worried about Nicki’s feelings if he saw lmfaooooooooooooooooo Armand thinks we are all stupid and it’s hilarious.
Waiting for the wattpad sequel!
Armand in the show: *quiet*
Armand in the trilogy: *mostly quiet*
Armand in book 6: so there I was, seventeen years old, tied up by men in drag during in my sixteenth orgy of the week fantasizing about fucking my adopted father, when someone pulls out a riding crop and—
There Are Degrees Of Goodness | Interview with the Vampire | New Episode...
Since amc give us the full sound track of the season and particularly "come to me again" I can't stop laughing every time I hear it. I've been imagine the scene and if Armand was going to be hearing the song in Louis thoughts. And amc didn't disappointed me with this.
the moment Bernard found out that Tim tried to clone Kon he demanded to look over Tim’s research and with a red pen started writing down corrections
Tim who didn’t think too much of it (big mistake), shrugged it off and forgot about it until roughly three weeks later there was a pile of papers on his desk with a sticky note on top that said ‘pro tip: get good at science first, then clone your totally platonic best friend’
Armand next episode: “Lestat was resplendent in his fur lined red cloak, his golden curls cascading down to his shoulders in shimmering waves… and his depressed boyfriend was there too, with his stupid hair and boring clothes, a real “nothingburger” of a man, to use the common vernacular.”
Call: ANIME IS COOL!
Alastair: Constantine used to like anime
Call: Daaaad can we have a dog??
Alastair: Constantine used to have a wolf which is basically a dog
Call: Dad I'm boooooored
Alastair: Constantine used to be bored sometimes
Call: *tries to smuggle fruit loops into the shopping cart*
Alastair: Constantine used to complain about the lack of fruit loops in the magisterium
Call: I'm thirsty
Alastair: Constantine drank water sometimes
I don't know how I'll cope if Lestat lets Armand hit in the show. Their whole thing was Lestat rejecting Armand up until the point of driving him into pushing Lestat off of a tower
Please don’t let this happen. Pining after Lestat occupies 75% of Armand’s brain. God knows what he’d do if he had that much free time
ALSKDJFADSF I just caught Daniel's notes on Rashid and lmao one of them is "'Electronic mailbox' ?? Does Louis enforce this kind of language? Why?" Which is just so funny to me bc I know in Armand's head he was patting himself on the back for keeping up with all the technology, being able to fly under the radar by showing off his knowledge. Meanwhile Daniel is like "Does Louis enforce this old time-y, stuffy speech?? Why tf would he do that??"
