I love asking people for their names at work, getting an answer, and asking a followup question if I'm unsure of the spelling. Literally brightened like 6 people's day today with just this one technique

One guy said his name was Isaac, i asked c or k, he said c, with 2 a's, I said yeah I got that part. He was legit so happy, he said "everyone always gets it wrong" so I pointed to my name tag and said "I feel you, my name is half vowels, everyone gets it wrong all the time"

I think it has to do with being really seen, but i haven't figured that part out yet
