So, this post by @thebroccolination inspired me to do something I have long meant to do:

When I say Thai BL has Two Degrees from New Siwaj, I am not kidding. I can usually make it to any Thai artistsā MDL in 1-6 clicks if I start on New.
He may not be YOUR favorite. You may not enjoy his series. You may not enjoy how he plays fast and loose with his filming and editing schedules. He may only have 1 or 2 series out of the 28 heās directed you actually enjoy. And thatās fine. I donāt think Iāve even watched half of his series.
But pretending this man is a monster of a director who you should fear your bias getting cast with is insane. Especially when there are multiple reports of awful directoes, like the male Director Golf that GMMTV had to fire and Offroad getting bullied on the set of Century of Love.
He is one of the founding fathers of Thai BL. You name an actor, odds are heās been on a production with them or someone they work with. You name an active production this year and he has directed at least one, if not more, of the actors in it.
His series attract enough funding to sustain more than 12 episodes or a continuation as a serial.
His actors come back to him time and time again, and with new CPs, because of how kind and generous of a director he is. To the point heās told some of them to go grow with other directors.
You donāt have to like him, but you cannot diminish his influence or reach or his foundational place in Thai BL.
