What helped me write trauma better is remembering that the nervous system learns predictions. If danger used to come after quiet, calm can feel threatening. The deuteranomaly and protanomaly ones are very similar but they are different. The purple section ranges out a little farther to the right in the protanomaly one. Not seeing the difference between might not indicate color blindness but rather difficulty with color differentiation.

It’s very odd that apparently half the people in this thread don’t understand the function of colorblindness spectrum infographics like this. One function is to help designers with accessible color picking, but the other obvious function is finding all the people who THINK two parts of the image are identical and then informing them they're—surprise!—actually a specific type of colorblind.

All the “those images are actually the same though right? you guys are just messing with me right??” was funny in the Discord screenshot and maybe the first or second tumblr reply, but by now I’m just honestly concerned that y'all are still confused about this entire concept.

@skeletal-spire-man-aka-overfit @snom-offical - Just to confirm, the normal vision color bar and the tritanomaly color bar are noticeably different if you have normal color vision and your phone screen isn’t complete shit. It’s less noticeable in the small bars further up but it’s pretty unmissable in the most recent image. They both look like full rainbows, yes, but in the tritanomaly bar there is less yellow in the places that should have yellow (the orange is too red, the yellow is too pale, the green is too cyan), there’s something desaturated about the blue, and the magenta is left-shifted and much fainter. If you can’t discern those differences even on a decent screen and paying attention, then you have tritanomaly colorblindness. This is not a prank.
