tfw when idiots on tumblr who know jack shit about thermo assume the dude is ‘correcting misinformation’ when actually he’s dead ass wrong. ‘Spontaneous’ is a scientific term - it means a reaction with a negative Gibb’s free energy, i.e. a reaction that will occur without an external energy input, i.e. water boiling because of low atmospheric pressure. Spontaneous is absolutely the correct term for what she’s observing, and that is ‘simple thermo’, and this is ‘correcting misinformation’.

I’m confused because even outside science I am only aware of the word “spontaneous” meaning “sudden” or “abrupt” but they’re acting like it specifically means “without an explanation” or something???
spontaneous means neither of those things. it means ‘of its own accord’, or literally ‘occurring without external stimuli’. even in layman’s terms, what the astronaut is saying is always correct.

However I have a dilemma. I hate most of the fics I've published. And some of my favs? Not published.
So. With that...
1. Zwilling Doppelgänger
Does not require having had played ToS:DotNW to enjoy or understand. The plot is completely disconnected from the game with the only thing used are characters, with the roles they fill being also different from the game. It's a fun fic where I can take my love of all things whimsy and slap it into a story.
2. Collection of Thoughts for a Scholar
This is slightly cheating as this is a culmination of many drabbles for my OC, Nymyrrh. It is for XIV and some of them do require knowing the game. Speaking of, I have like 8 more drabbles to add to this collection.
And that's it! For published works at least.
3. Insomnia Wrote This (1)
This is a Twilight Princess drabble that I enjoyed writing. If you know me, you know my inability to sleep leads to some interesting creation choices. Trigger warnings for this one: uh... almost decapitation? ✨️✌️pain? Delirium? Listen, Link got his ass handed to him in a losing battle and was rescued. 5. Cat and Quin's Duet
Not.... technically a fanfic as much as it's a not a fandom piece? Unique World (Ren made), Unique Plot (Ren made that too), and I just pilot a fleet of clowns in her setting like a cracked out hamster looking for dopamine.... Anyway I love this ship a lot and this is one of my favorite pieces of Anna (Ren's chara) and Avery (my chara) sharing a moment.

time is meaningless.
which means if i have one (1) thing that i need to do, my brain has to block the entire day out for it.
which means that even if it’s technically a “day off” if i have one (1) important obligation–even if it’s only gonna take like 2 hours out of hte day–my brain doesn’t count it as a “day off” so i don’t actually get to use it to decompress from everything else
which is how i end up going weeks or months without having a “day off” that my brain will register as such so my stress levels just keep compounding, and my energy levels keep plummeting, and it’s hell on earth is what it is
…In true ADHD fashion, guess who accidentally deleted the wrong post because and they were multi-tasking and got distracted and then had to Google to find this again?

Yes this is an adhd symptom. Also called time blindness. It's a part of the same reason why the circadian rythm for sleep wake cycles is fucked to shit.
Medication slightly fixes this but a lot of it learning grounding techniques and learning mindfulness in a "self check" way. "Where am I, What's my task here, what time is it."
Or what I do which is set up my phone with a fuck load of alarms to keep me present. Every 30 min it vibrates for my bad days. Every hour for my good.
