Today I am thankful for my brother Pete Ruiz and his wife for being an awesome friend and opening their home to myself and several other young Airmen for Thanksgiving. I wasn't able to make it home this year, so it was nice to spend Thanksgiving with my friends. . Sometimes you need to slow down the hustle to appreciate the things that are right in-front of you. It's easy to lose sight of what matters in our fast-paced environments.
