Has anyone ever missed an ex, but like, not the ex, but the experience?

I don’t miss my ex, I miss having someone to touch, to touch me and feel safe. I miss napping on top of someone, sharing sloppy kisses, not worrying if I drooled as I slept, just feeling the warmth of another body against mine, sharing those stupid in-love giggles everyone hates listening too but actually feel so fucking great to make.

I miss someone telling me how absolutely ridiculous I looked not in a bad way, but in a funny and lovely way.

I miss remembering someone’s presence in a good way, like remembering how good you felt half an hour ago, how warm and safe you felt in their arms.

Fuck I don’t miss her, I miss the feeling of her, the idea of it.

So there they are. Neil-attitude-problem-Josten and Andrew-don’t-talk-to-me-Minyard have to stand each other for basically a year, having to talk about design, preferences and having to touch each other a little, to take the measurements.
