been trying to work out whether the time travel bullshit elements of Homestuck are Closed Loop (events are recursive, you can’t “change” the future because everything that would affect the past or future has already happened) or Open Loop (events branch into timelines, and actions taken can create entirely new timelines over old ones) and every page I read is introducing the slowly more horrifying idea that it might somehow be both of them at once
there is a multiple page extended reference to Barkley: Shut Up and Jam Gaiden in this comic, which fucks me up because I can’t believe that game predates this comic by two years, but also explains SO MUCH of the writing style. the sense of humor in both of these series is IDENTICAL

For every poor veteran, theres many poor retail workers, waiters, students. None of which are given the same valor or entitlements for the important role they play in our society. And none of which have invaded foreign soil or have foreign blood on their hands.
I dont want a world where people are incentivized to become soldiers, and for violence to be seen as normal as any regular job. So I will not advocate for them to get special privileges. Societies where such worship takes place become barbaric.

I have only used one on the list, but it was as good as or maybe better than Turbotax, and I repeat, free for the federal tax return. You MIGHT still have to pay a fee to file a state tax return, but it should be nominal. If you don't want to do it online, you can also go to the IRS to print out the forms directly and turn them in.
