The saying “educate your sons” annoys me because they should already know what no means, how much more educating do you possibly need? It’s not rocket science to respect people’s boundaries. Even my dog knows what no means. People don’t rape because they don’t know what no means. They rape because they are rapists. I hate that sentence too. The males that we have today they composed +99% of sexual criminals are the ones that are educated to do no harm, not to kill, not to rape etc. They are already educated and with that education that they still choose to be sexual predators.

I remember a few conversations I had with some of my rapists that I was stuck with for a long period of times.

After they raped me, I would be so miserable that the discussion was brought up and then I would simply state what happened, without saying rape, assault or any words like that and every time their response was the same : oh no don't say that. People are going to think I'm a rapist.

Or the variant : oh no don't say that. You're making me the bad guy. I feel bad now.

They were always stating out load and recognising that what they have done was rape. Long before I was even able to comprehend what happened or even to recognise it myself.

Or it's months after I managed to escape them, we see eachother again, and then he came to me apologising saying that what he did wasn't okay and that it was rape. And then a few months or year later, we cross eachother again and dare I say, that he was a rapist. He jumped at me, screaming that I have no right to insult him blablabla.

For them the term rapist is an insult but not based on material reality nor just a term designing it. I answered by saying : you're the one that admitted and said first that you raped me. Which makes you a rapist. Which he replied by : yes I raped you but no I'm not a rapist.

Proving again my point that they don't recognise that term as just being a descriptor. For them the two words aren't related at all. And that's why they have no issues being one, sharing their rapes confession because describing the rape that they commit doesn't make them rapist. Rape is perfect in their mind, but rapist is a slur for them.

They have understood from their education that being a rapist is bad. But they also have understood that raping is fine because of their socialisation by society and mostly other males.

They know. They just choose to be that way. It's a deliberate choice.
