About me:

I go by Void.

Pronouns: She/Her and They/Them.

Posts are rare for me, I mostly talk in reblog language.

But when I do post my own thoughts (lmao), it’s under #calls from the void tag. (Reblogs with me adding something longer to the post may be tagged like this too, even if it’s in the tags.) If something is relatable to me or just so me-core it’s tagged #void hoards posts.

Fandoms you can find on this blog: my chemical romance, the nightmare before christmas, mcyt & dream smp, with occasional appearances of the hunger games, phantom of the opera, the amazing digital circus, or anything else that I'm forgetting right now (apologies if that is the case).

Random things I also reblog: art, cats, mental health posts, fandom & media analyses. It's a messy blog, that I treat like an archive of my current stream of consciousness, so don't mind some chaos <3.

I love organising tags! I have a system, which is not the best, but if you're looking for something in particular it's explained below the cut (if needed).

General:

I try to keep things relatively simple; art is #art and cats are #cats. It goes like this for all non-fandom things, like baking, food, music, and other things like that, even some movies or shows I like, but am not as much devoted to on this blog in particular.

Fandom tags:

My logic for fandom tags is the same for each fandom that I blog about on here (unless you find me messy and tag only the main work with no distinctions; apologies for that, then). My system starts from everything being tagged either #[insetrt fandom] or #[insert a subsection of the fandom]; so if you search for fanart or fanfiction use i.e. #[insert fandom] fanart or #[insert fandom] fanfiction. It follows in the same vein with the artists, characters, and ships, so: #[insert character], #[insert character] fanart, and etc. Sometimes I'll tag a particular fandom-related event, but that is quite rare. Things are usually grouped under specific artists or characters only.

My Chemical Romance

Same thing as above, but I love this band so it gets its own section Basics first, #my chemical romance and #my chemical romance fanart. Next, I specify which album era it is, so that would be i.e. #danger days and #danger days fanart. Then, if they appear on a post, I tag band members the same way, so #gerard way and #gerard way fanart. I try to tag songs too, but that doesn't always work for me - these are usually under videos from tours. (Just hold onto albums, to be fair; might be easier.)

waaaay back when I was a cashier in retail we would talk about dumb shit while unloading the truck, and we got to the "what would you do in a zombie apocalypse" me and another worker were like yeah we would just die. End it all, we can't fight or run or shit. I refuse to put that much effort into survival.

And my manager was like no!!!! If that happened, I would drive to find you guys in my truck and we could eat stuff from my wife's garden and I would make sure everyone I know survived!! I would carry you all on my shoulders away from the zombies!!

Yes, things are going well, I’ve returned home from holidays, but have a week until a trip with friends so I hope to do some uni work and related studying done in the meantime, and write fanfic if I find the time for it (I so want to find the time for it). Thank you for all of these kind words! I’m working on a fanfic for Interview with the Vampire, I am obsessed with this show and really recommend it, so I’ve been writing a long-fic for it and in particular a ship I really like, Devil’s minion!

When I lived in London there was a murder of crows that lived near me. I fed them often, they brought me presents (shiny rubbish and cigarette butts they found on the floor to thank me.)

When I moved, I’m certain they understood I was leaving because I had all my stuff and gave them lots of food and compliments.

But, they chased down my friend who lived in the next burrough over. They had recognised that friend with me several times and followed them to their house when they couldn’t find me.

They adopted my friend and it was now my friend’s job to bring them snacks and receive the presents.

This was maybe 6-7 years ago.

I visited London last year. Went to see my friend. The crows all not only recognised me, they tracked me down. We got into my friend’s flat and not twenty minutes later there was chaos on the balcony.

We open the curtains, the entire fucking murder is there shouting because they wanted to see me.

Crows are the very best birds.
