There is a heat index warning today. I hope we make it to the beach. I can almost hear the sigh as the water goes across the sand. Even a hammock at a lake sounds wonderful. Last time we went to a lake, the sun had started to go down, and I looked from my spot on the rocks under the bridge to the other side. I saw a great blue heron fishing, bathed in evening sunlight, so very close to my favorite part of the day. The gloaming. The bridge became a portal to a different world. The moment felt magical.

I remember making this once with kiddo during a sick day they had. It turned out to be one of the best days ever. I want to make them again.
The dragonflies are back and the wood lark is singing. The grand finale of summer is beautiful.
Yet another thing that hypnotized me. It's starting to be funny. 🤣
Seems like everybody's got a price
I wonder how they sleep at night
When the sale comes first and the truth comes second
Just stop for a minute and smile
Why is everybody so serious?
Acting so damn mysterious
Got shades on your eyes and your heels so high
That you can't even have a good time
Everybody look to their left
Everybody look to their right
Can you feel that? Yeah
We're paying with love tonight
It's not about the money, money, money
We don't need your money, money, money
We just wanna make the world dance
Forget about the price tag
Ain't about the, uh, cha-ching, cha-ching
Ain't about the, yeah, ba-bling, ba-bling
Wanna make the world dance
Forget about the price tag
We need to take it back in time
When music made us all unite
And it wasn't low blows and video hos
Am I the only one getting tired?
Why is everybody so obsessed?
Money can't buy us happiness
Can we all slow down and enjoy right now?
Guarantee we'll be feeling alright
Everybody look to their left (to their left)
Everybody look to their right (to their right)
Can you feel that? Yeah
We're paying with love tonight
It's not about the money, money, money
We don't need your money, money, money
We just wanna make the world dance
Forget about the price tag
Ain't about the, uh, cha-ching, cha-ching
Ain't about the, yeah, ba-bling, ba-bling
Wanna make the world dance
Forget about the price tag (yeah, yeah)
Well, keep the price tag (yeah) and take the cash back (back)
Just give me six strings (six strings) and a half stack (half stack)
And you can, can keep the cars, leave me the garage
And all I, yes, all I need are keys and guitars
And guess what? In 30 seconds, I'm leaving to Mars
Yeah, we leaping across these undefeatable odds
It's like this, man, you can't put a price on a life
We do this for the love, so we fight and sacrifice every night
So we ain't gon' stumble and fall, never (nah)
Waiting to see this in the sign of defeat, uh-uh
So we gon' keep everyone moving their feet
So bring back the beat and then everyone sing
It's not about the money, money, money
We don't need your money, money, money
We just wanna make the world dance
Forget about the price tag
Ain't about the, uh, cha-ching, cha-ching
Ain't about the, yeah, ba-bling, ba-bling
Wanna make the world dance
Forget about the price tag (hey, hey)
It's not about the money, money, money (we don't need it)
We don't need your money, money, money (no I don't, we don't need it)
We just wanna make the world dance (dance)
Forget about the price tag (dance your ass off, ah-ah)
Ain't about the, uh, cha-ching, cha-ching
Ain't about the, yeah, ba-bling, ba-bling (it ain't about)
Wanna make the world dance (yeah, yeah)
Forget about the price tag (forget about the price tag)
Yeah, yeah, oh-oh
Forget about the price tag

I got tired of kiddo (I say "kiddo" because I don't want to use a name or specific gender.) playing aimless PC games. We sat down this morning and found an ancient Persian themed 10+ hidden object game. We watch Prince of Persian a lot. I hope this works.

I never saw myself as a Trad Wife. But now that I am researching how to exit my relationship i am seeing how I slowly got backed into a corner where that was the only way to survive. I don't even think my spouse even understands how it happened. But now this lifestyle is habit, and he doesn't like change, specifically sudden change, and neither do I. I want change now. Sudden change. I can't stay this way. I am physically sick with emotions every day, I am scared I will see another side of him when he realizes this isn't all talk. Side note. Shaming Trad Wives and osctasizing them doesn't help. It just perpetuates the situation. You're adding on to the isolation and shame they don't want to recognize. You're encouraging the belief that being alone is better than dealing with a negative friendship. I don't dare ask for help because it comes with a price I don't want to pay. Once again, I have to be strong all by myself.
