I love this post because the replies are like "for anyone who doesn't know what nestle did, they benefited from [insert human rights violation here]" but nestle has done SO many fucked up things you get a different topic in every comment

Drained water from places suffering from drought for absolute pennies.

Made African mothers dependent on their milk formula, which they gave for free, until their milk dried up. Then they required them to purchase it, mothers could not afford it, mixed in too little to fulfill nutrient needs, and mixed it with polluted water. Children died.

Used slavery to produce their cocoa.

Pushed for water to be considered a “want” not a “need” and is at the forefront of arguments that water is not a human right.

Lucifer: the text post memes :: Eve and Lucifer

Won't go into proper detail/analysis, but as much as I love Lucifer I do have to say the show peaked before Netflix took over

Don't get me wrong I'm glad about the #savelucifer campaign back in the day; imagine if the show had ended at the S3 cliffhanger (also, we got a Film Noir special and a Musical one, say what u will but I love them)

But apart from the fact that it went from 26 to ten episodes, to me it also feels a bit strange plot-wise. The general vibe is very netflix-ified, I guess you can't help that in terms of lighting/dialogue/direction with a tv-giant like that taking over. But the plot? (Spoilers obv)

Chloe running away to Europe is justified, and that she was manipulated by father Kinley in a vulnerable position makes some sense. But inquisitive, logic-oriented Chloe Decker not actually going to question the one person who matters and instead blindly trusting a stranger, to the point of helping him murder someone? Sure, she didn't go through with it, but there was never an actual 'redemption arc' for it, we just kinda...moved on?

+ Chloe has worked with Lucifer for three years at this point, is in love with him and trusts him more than anyone else, but takes the reveal way worse than his therapist who found out not even a year in?

AND regardless of the murder plot - I wish we'd seen more of how Chloe, lifelong agnostic/atheist/ I'll believe it if I see it, dealt with finding out about Heaven and Hell and the structural aspects, rather than just Lucifer's identity. They don't have a proper conversation à "I accept you the way you are" after that drama either, and I think Lucifer had every right to feel hurt but that hurt never led anywhere (i.e. an actual conflict). Also, with Eve in the picture, it would've been the first time Chloe had actual competition regarding Lucifer, but nothing really came of it. It always feels a bit as if he's taken for granted in Chloe's life whereas he has to fight for her basically every season.

(This sounds very negative lmao I actually do like the season, it just doesn't feel quite as great as the previous ones to me)
