Dividing Lines Chapter 35

Chapter 35 of Dividing Lines is out in which Don returns to the TVA. Co-written by the phenomenal @lgwilt!

Don had no idea how he was supposed to convince them to help take down the TVA. He didn’t know the first thing about them; they were strangers. He paused, forcing himself to take a steady inhale. Don didn’t know the two security guards standing before him, but Mobius did. He knew D-90 would crack a smile at a well-placed joke now and then. He knew C-20 loved music – he would catch her humming from time to time, songs that weren’t on any of their celebration playlists – and had a sweet tooth that rivaled his own. And, most importantly, he was certain that both of them wanted out of the TVA as much as he did. For the first time since reintegration, Don didn’t overthink it. He didn’t wonder how he knew these things about them or if his memories were reliable, he let instinct take over and began to speak. “Time to say my goodbyes, huh.”

Seven Something Sentence Sunday

Not been tagged today but I'm sharing again anyway!

I keep telling myself if I keep working on this a little bit every day it'll eventually be finished 😂 So here's todays tiny addition 😘

The sun is directly overhead by the time they next rest, bright and oppressive as it beats down upon them. The only saving grace is the thick canopy of leaves that cover them, shrouding them in as much shade as they can get out here. Still, it’s unpleasantly hot, not an ounce of wind making it through the tall tree trunks that surround the clearing.  Mobius’ tie has been abandoned, thrown haphazardly on top of his discarded jacket, and the top two buttons of his shirt are popped. It's the most casual Loki has seen Mobius since he arrived at the TVA. The man is always so prim and proper, always in that same drab brown suit, with the same shirt and the same tie…seeing it start to all slowly come off feels odd in a way Loki can't place. He feels like he's being allowed to see a part of Mobius that isn't all the TVA’s own. He wonders if there's more to the agent he has yet to see.
