How long will it stay like this?..... In this house.... not long.... But I will enjoy the clean and tidiness for as long as I possibly can! I fight with myself, wanting to have a "show home", spotless, clean, tidy and no mess..... with the reality of a busy household, 2 young boys and my fight with anxiety! I need to remember that my family make my home, and as long as its clean and fresh then the messiness is just my kids making memories (more of a mess)! So if your stressing today about the mess in your home, remember it won't always be this way! I am working my way through my house today, after being out of action for 3 days with a stinking cold, so i have "Hinch" basket, and a list of all the jobs I need to do! This sums up my week.... Full of cold, heightened anxiety and wanting to escape! Feeling ill always makes situations worse, it can drag you further down than you want to go... Yes I have felt shocking all week, but the positives are i have had time to SIT, and THINK! I have spent most of the past few days either on the toilet, or blowing my nose, slightly resembling an elephant in the jungle! The kids stop and stare at me everytime! I have decided I want to fight against my anxiety and help people, I want to use my social media platforms and website for the good. To show that I have down days, weeks but there is always a glimmer of hope and positivity. I am now drawing up a plan of where I want to go, what goals and dreams I have and how i want to achieve them.... My Letter To Anxiety..... Dear Anxiety, I'm not sure why you came to visit me uninvited, leaving behind all your baggage when you left! Leaving me with all these emotions and feelings that i didn't know how to handle. You knocked on the door to my sub-conscious and walked straight in, you didn't care. I was fine before you arrived. Happy in my life, happy with my thoughts. Then YOU came running in , you ruined me, you knocked me down, you stayed in my head and turned my angels against me. You turned my happy thoughts bad, you made me nervous, and stopped me going out! Why? What had I done that made you pick on me? Why did you just up and leave me to suffer? Following on from my stories.... So today hasn't been great, my head is all over the place and I can't think why so i have just gone with it... I have decided to try this week to have a "planned" week.... A schedule for my day.... I want to see whether having a routine will help with my anxiety, stress and all day worrying... I have made sure i add rests into the day, so that i start to try to relax. I find "relaxing" to feel quite a "guilty" sensation. I feel like i should be busy ALL the time and although I do my meditation and self care, its part of my busy day... im not sure i am describing that right but I hope you get what I mean... #meditation #throwbackpic I have woken up this morning with an overpowering sense of relief..... I actually slept well last night! I slept calmly and deep. It was amazing! The relief comes from knowing that what i am experiencing right now can be dealt with, it can be worked on and controlled over time. Nobody chooses to suffer with any type of illness, its not something we want or our body needs. I would never wish anyone to suffer, it is crippling and exhausting! This is a throwback picture of our little mini trip to Cornwall in August. I meditated on my favourite beach (marazion), staring at my favourite place (St Michael's Mount) taking in the smell, feel, and beauty of my surroundings. Meditation can be whatever you want it to be. So many people think the Stereotypical voodoo stuff and don't understand the benefits and relief it can bring to your soul. Take time today to sit quietly and focus on just you. How you feel. What your body is telling you. What feelings are causing you pain or discomfort. Diagnosis from doctor this week.... So this week has been 1 hell of a week.... I knew I suffered with social anxiety, it was obvious really, not wanting to leave the house, panic attacks while I was out, fear of crowds and talking to people.... What I didn't know was actually I also suffer with GAD ( generalised anxiety disorder) and OCD....... So not only do I get anxious about going out, the reason I am anxious ALL the time is the GAD and OCD! I thought that it was just the SA that was with me all day but its not, I worry about absolutely everything!!!! I mean everything! Then the OCD takes over when things aren't right, around the house, routines get messed up, chores aren't done correctly... thats not just if someone else does it, its also when I do it and my brain thinks its not done good enough.... No wonder I am exhausted all the time....... #chickentherapythursday Today is ALL about the chicken's! Volunteer work down at the bird farm, along with looking after my own ❤ So many people I speak to are scared or afraid of birds/chickens but actually when you spend time with them they are beautiful funny little things! They are like mini raptors with a huge heart! They are very nosy and inquisitive, always want to see what your doing and will follow you everywhere in case you have a treat in your pocket! Kicking off Tuesday with POSITIVITY! If we allow ourselves to think and believe negative thoughts we start to live by them. Are you Guilty? I know I am!!! I MADE IT!!!! Today I managed a 4 hour shopping trip with NO anxiety attacks, NO panicking and NO stresses! I AM COPING WITH MY ANXIETY! Just through daily self care, self development and meditation practice. I am learning to understand myself, understand my thoughts and deal with my anxiety. The result is I managed today to go in 4 shops without an attack. Today I am proud of myself! . . . . . If you are suffering with anxiety, please know it won't last forever, there are practices you can do yourself at home, to help deal with it. You may read my posts and think "what a load of rubbish" but I am not on any medication, and I am working through my issues with the help of the @femalepreneurs_academy !
