I had this convo with @autisticandroids the other day, how I think Dean has had "gay sex for the first time" like maybe ten times in his life because he keeps retconning the knowledge from his brain. Also because he is a little addicted to (pseudo)virginity roleplay.

I think autisticandroids suggested it's bc he always finds a reason it "doesn't count" - ie 'i was a demon' or 'it was only hands and mouths stuff'

Anyway when Dean and Cas finally fuck and Dean is like "I've never done this with a man before 🥺" and Cas is like :/ because he saw the vibe with Benny and also like. Crowley used to literally torment him with the play by plays of his demon Dean hookups. So he's skeptical. jimmy novak is a fascinating character to me and at least 80% of the reason for that is that no one in their right mind would ever cast misha collins to play that character. like, misha played him because he was already playing cas but if they had written a guy like jimmy without cas existing first they would never have cast a guy like misha to play him. it's not his type. and it makes jimmy come off really strange in an interesting way.
