Sometimes you want to let people know that you care. You want to be there for them, stand by their side and give them the support they deserve.

But then you see their struggles, the problems and the people that hurt them. And you realize, that there is nothing for you to do. You have no advice to give, can’t be physically with them nor help them get away from these people.

Nothing in your you can do, will change their situation or ther problems. You might think your powerless now, but you’re not. Just because you can’t solve their problems, and earse their pain, doesn’t mean you should not try to do something.

It can be little. Just a little 💚 message. Or a mention in a post. It can be an ‘I love you’ or a 'good morning’.

Or the fact that they were there for you when nobody else was and that you always have to smile when you think of them.

It won’t change their reality, but can be a reason to light up for a bit. Maybe even a reminder that life isn’t so bad after all. Maybe just enough to go on a little longer.

I know it works for me and I hope it will work for the people I love the most as well.

I feel like this is exactly what Connor would do. He wouldn't go into sleeping mode, no.

He would stare at Gavin, analysing his facial features, counting his scars, while running all the possibilities of how Gavin could get them.

And Gavin would be strangely ok with it. Because he also loves staring at Connor, when our wonderful android is in the sleeping mode.

I live for this headcanon.

Inktober 2018. Day 9: precious Kara and Alice

We need more of them together, really.

They've been through so much... I think that Kara is a perfect example of a mother.

Mothers should love their children to death, but, at the same time, sometimes they forget that their child isn't perfect and shouldn't be viewed as such. The thing is - it's absolutely normal to be not perfect. And it's ok for a child to not meet certain standards.

And it's ok for a mom or dad to doubt some things. It's not that easy to be a parent. I'm sure that there are many situations, when moms and dads simply don't know what to do.

Families have their ups and downs. I think that Kara and Alice showed us a perfect example of it.

I know that many people didn't like this scenario with Alice being an android (me neither). And I understand, truly. But let's just appreciate their mother/daughter relationship, which is truly very believable.

But let's not forget about our wonderful @vitiatetmblr! She's making a great content, which makes me think, smile and scream, ahahaha~

This is so accurate... We constantly critique ourselves, because someone's is "better" and we wanna be like them.

While other people can think that YOU are better than them.

It's a never ending circle, which is full of sadness and lies...

Let's aprecciate ourselves and support each other. No matter how beautiful/talented/smart/positive/active etc. you or your friends are, we should remember that we're not emotionproof.

The best thing is knowing that someone's got your back and that this someone appreciates you no matter what kind of a person you are.

And don't forget that everyone's unique. Period.
