2014 will not be forgotten easily. It was eventful to say the least!

I opened the door and all my friends had gathered around the entrance. All excited that I had come to greet them at last.

They pushed someone to the front of the group which confused me a little, but then I saw You.

Loose curls, white shirt, big grin on your face. They wanted me to see You. You opened your arms and hugged me so tight. Like no time had gone by. It took me a second to cozy up in your arms.

It was You afterall. I'd dreamt about this moment for years.

I had a thousand questions rushing through my head, but was rendered speechless. All I could muster was a lousy "how have you been?"

An aquaintance from my school was close by. I wasn't sure why, but she just casually eavesdropped our conversation. The electricity around us was palpable I supposed.

"You're finally getting that residency" she finally said.

I blushed, while you smiled warmly, nodding.

Why were you agreeing though?

What were you not sharing?

Why were you here, now, after all this time? In the end, none of that mattered.

I'd very much like you to stay.

It's so great and easy to spend time with you. I'm looking forward to next time. :-)

it's great that some of y'all think your favourite male celebs love women and get women but trust me none of them love or get women the way Luke Newton does.

His entire behaviour during the press tour so far has cemented the fact. Repeatedly berating his own character for "not seeing what's in front of him" - not a single word in defense of Colin's behaviour ... saying he finds consent super sexy ... saying that Colin would have loved Pen EVEN if she hadn't changed her look because it's not the glow up that made Colin fall in love ... and the fact that normally male leads would shy away from being tagged as soft / gentle / romantic in favour of some alpha hetero masculine posturing but here he is talking about how he watched all the romcoms and the videos Nicola sent him to make sure he commits and understands the shared vision for their characters ... thinking that A Thousand Years is the perfect song for Polin because he watched a Twilight edit with it.... I could go on omg.

And the fact multiple women on the Bridgerton cast have said Luke N is just the sweetest ...... I've never in my life felt a need to baby a man but LUKE NEWTON IS MY BABYGIRL I SWEARRRRRRRRRRR
