Milicent Patrick was maybe a Baroness. Her father was the superintendent of construction of Hearst Castle. 

She was the first female animator at Walt Disney Studios.

She created the Gill-Man costume for Creature from the Black Lagoon, and starred in a publicity tour that essentially got her fired by her jealous, male, boss.

She’s also credited with strong design work on the gelatinous cyclopean creatures in It Came From Outer Space, the Mr. Hyde mask in Abbot *& Costello Meet Dr. Jekyll & Mr, Hyde, the Metaluna Mutant from This Island Earth, and the Mole People from The Mole People.

There are no definitive records of her birth, or death.
