I had a wildest dream tonight

Spies are Forever got like an arg thing. You signed up for it and got a letter written by Cynthia and it was like a calling for you to become a spy for ASS, the letter included a bunch of curse words as per usual Cynthia fashion. I don't remember what the actual puzzle or mystery of the arg was but I do remember we got a clue from Curt Mega and it was a distorted audio file and the community had to puzzle it together. The end of the arg was the reveal of nightmare-time-like shorts for a saf prequel and they made a special site for it. (If this was a real arg all the clues would probably give little snippets of the link to the site or something). On that site you could read Curt's and Owen's logs for their missions and you had access to the episodes where you could see their tragic relationship unfold. Some of them were mission footage, some of them private but all gave a great idea of their unhealthy relationship. The site was very well crafted and on theme it looked like a spy database!

I've not read the books so pardon me my confusion and also spoilers for The vampire Lestat

Very in character for this show to be formatted chaotic, messy, vibes over consistency and also be a lot more vulgar than iwtv. Louis clearly had a vision and a format Lestat is just fuck it we ball and I do love that about him. The piss scene as uncomfortable as it is, quite expected for Lestat to show us the disturbing and taboo. I love my provacative queen. I do love how every step of the way I can imagine a biggot to have a heart attack watching just a frame of this show

I went back to your comic and looked the dark figure thingies from upside-down and I see them now!! they've been hung up by the national guard after the executions?

It is definitely intended since ange is WALKING INTO THE SAME DIRECTION as the corpses, as he *knows* he's going to end up like them but doesn't care because his mother is the 🇫🇷 republic 🇫🇷

Ange not being in character every once in a while is what makes him in character and we all know how much grantaire likes to talk in paragraphs at a time :D

Who doesn't love one-sided e/r?

I'm gonna answer this cause it's just a wonderful message

It's also like the blood he leaves in his tracks, it follows him everywhere and then he judges himself to the same fate (see his speech after killing Le Cabuc)

I also love the contrast in their speech sm. Grantaire talks a lot and uses way too many words cause he doesn't have a set belief per se. I think it very well demonstrates how their ideals contrast. Cause Grantaire can have so many conflicting ideas at once and he likes to emphasize and overexaggerate. I think some part of him talks longer not just to let anyone else really understand what he believes in but also to confuse himself cause setting his mind to anything is too much. He takes care to not believe in anything, paraphrasing rn I'm pretty confident this implies he does it intentionally again cause the less he cares the less it hurts

Enjolras meanwhile is direct. Short, simple. Cause he KNOWS EXACTLY where his beliefs and opinions lie. It's so fundamental to him he does need to pause to answer ever.

This wasn't my main focus in my comic but it always fascinated me about the original text.

Edit: one-sided enjoltaire is the only way I ship it lol. They will not end up together, they're too fucked up for that

This animatic was created as part of my honours year at university studying Animation! I specialised in Storyboarding, and wanted to board this scene as practice. Creative liberties were taken for the sake of dramatisation, such as there being more bodies in the actual cafe than there probably was then. Either way I hope people enjoy this

I know we're all really hyped about the theatrical release and it's great but please realistically we've all seen episode 8. I get yelling and clapping at every major reveal in episode 9 but do we need to do that for episode 8 that we've all probably seen multiple times at home knowing the TADC fans.
