There's a printed out script for ep 13 and a page of the ep 24 script is on the monitor display.
Now I'm trying to remain calm and not jump to any conclusions since director Pat had mentioned before that the script was already written. This doesn't necessarily mean that S2 has been confirmed and filming has started.
BUT. The fact that the script has even been printed out in physical form indicates it's currently being used. There are sticky notes on it like it's a working copy.
I am 9 episodes into Takara’s Treasure and the only reason I’m still watching is because I’m so impressed by how Takara’s actor received an arguably garbage script and still manages to pull off a pretty decent performance. fascinating, really
Love in the Big City is receiving a lot of hate and backlash from Korean conservatives.
The author of the novel and screenplay wrote today
“It turns out that the drama 'Love in the Big City' had its official trailer taken down due to being targeted by a certain group and receiving a flood of complaints to the relevant department. With only nine days left until the drama’s release, we’re in an absurd situation where we can’t do any promotion at all. I was so furious that I couldn’t sleep a wink all night. I thought I had grown used to things like this after eight years as a writer, but...”
The actor playing the main lead, Nam Yoonsu, is fairly high profile and Korean bigots are protesting.
The drama will air on the Korean streaming platform tving as well as Viki October 21.

I wish the English translations conveyed this well how the book is written, because I would love to read this. But translating novels is hard and of course all efforts should be appreciated. I’m just sad when I see how beautiful the original is.
