I put a pokemon colosseum playthrough in the background at work and I forgot how incredible the energy of the random NPCs was
In my experience, they tend to actually go with the way dumber option of "Okay so this means that, every time we pit the hare against the tortoise, the tortoise would win, and therefore a tortoise can also beat all the other animals a hare could ordinarily beat in a race"
"I should have made sure I got a full 16 hours the night before... this is Base Banana Slug I'm up against!"
does anyone know why this happens ?
The thing about ADHD is that the "lack of reward chemicals in your brain" doesn't just mean that you don't want to do any tasks that don't feel particularly yummy :(, it means that your brain will look at chores and tasks that need to be done like "doing this would be painful and tedious for absolutely nothing to gain from it, Do Not Do That." The same thing that your brain tells you about everything else that would feel really bad and hurt the entire time that you're dying. The part of your brain that stops you from doing the thing is the same part that keeps you from shoving your arm into a wood chipper.
With unmedicated, unmanaged ADHD, "I have to do this assignment or I fail and my life will be ruined and I die" feels like a SAW trap, every single time.
Articles written by neurotypicals will be like โADHD children find the external motivation of the SAW traps is very effective. Hereโs how to build SAW traps to maximize their productivity.โ

Renowned game developer Shigeru Miyamoto broke down in tears after his self-financed movie "The Super Mario Galaxy Movie" opened to $48 at the worldwide box office: "Fuuuck dude this movie cost so much money I'm so fucked"

What if anton was a beautiful lesbian
i mean this with full straightforward sincerity and not as any kind of backhanded compliment. but i think the most inspiring thing about jojo's bizarre adventure as a collective body of work is that it serves as definitive proof that wholeheartedly committing to your own style, voice, and tastes results in something infinitely more impactful than making something straightforwardly "good".
Replayed curious village today :P
HAPPY SBR DAY!
