You know what’s one of my biggest pet peeves? The double standard people have when it comes to shipping aroace characters.

People will make excuses for it like “aroace is a spectrum” and “aroace people can still date”

And while that’s all true

I especially find it funny that if you used those same exact excuses for shipping, let’s say, a gay man and with a woman or vice versa, then suddenly you’re “erasing their sexuality”
