That or the ice emperor just saw them as a threat to himself, possibly being a parallel to the fact that instead of protecting others he would only protect himself. Loosing not only his memory during the ice chapter but reversing his purpose.

Also also, for vex. I know people see him as this manipulative guy that is somewhat serious ( at least from what I've seen ) but it would be really funny for me if Vex was just some sassy, college roommate with the ice emperor, that would overshare dr.doof style only for the Ice Emperor to be almost unresponsive unless directly addressed, gives them more of a fun dynamic. He is still really evil btw, but more of a goofy evil.

I keep seeing fanart/fics where Lloyd’s oni nature somehow makes him act like a cat. But I raise you. Zane’s robotic nature makes him act like a bird. Dr.Julian hadn’t interacted with humans in years and started to subconsciously replace humans with the birds he befriended in the forest.

Zane is now a ‘bird-robot-man-but-man-in-the-human-way-not-the-gender-way-maybe’ and the ninja have to deal with him

Zane would be SUPER touchy. Like personal space is nonexistent to him. I think that when dr. Juillen was building him, he gave him the basic knowledge of how human emotions work, but he couldn’t fully code in the complexities of it (autism core). So Zane learns as a fact, that physical contact will make humans happier. And being, well, Zane, he wants everyone he cares about to be happy. So he just fucking CLINGS to everyone. People either don’t have the heart to push him away or tell him that’s not how it works.
