“Seriously? One wasn’t enough?” Opera mithers as a sleeping human child was thrust into their arms by the reckless master. They make sure to hold it gently. Humans were fragile enough, and this one was so small and squishy. It slept soundly and curled into Opera’s body as they instinctively rocked it slightly.
“I thought poor Iruma would get lonely!” Lord Sullivan wipes tears from the corners of his eyes. “I mean, sure, he has plenty of demon companions here in the Netherworld, but what if he misses his previous home? I’m sure it is surely extremely stressful for him to be around demons all day and hiding his humanity. He deserves someone he can just be with. Besides, this little thing was just so cute! I couldn’t just leave it there!” He smiles and fixes his coat, having flown home just moments ago.
“Don’t you think this is dangerous? You’re going a little overboard, don’t you think? I mean… This one is so small, I feel as though it will not understand the danger it is in in the slightest.” Opera looks down at the small human, “where did you get it anyways… Please don’t tell me you snatched it from a stroller.”
Sullivan gasps, “no, of course not! Actually, I found it abandoned in a park. And don’t worry, everything will be fine. This little one will be mostly staying home, and of course all of us will protect it.”
The child was a little dirty and wet, even shivering ever so slightly. “... I will trust your judgement… But we don’t know how to care for a human baby,” they point out.
“Ah, yes! Well, surely it can’t be too different than caring for a demon baby! And they are not small enough to be a baby- I’d say they’re around 6 or 7 years old. If we run into trouble, we can just ask darling Iruma!” Sullivan smiles optimistically and caresses the child’s cheek softly with his thumb. “This child will surely do great. Now, Opera!” He stands straight and begins speaking. “Since they are still asleep, just give them a blanket and make sure they stay warm. Then, after they wake up please give them a nice bath. Keep an eye on them, I heard human children can be quite silent little things when getting up to no good. I must go and hurry up with today’s paperwork now, toodles!” The grandfather skips to the direction of his office.
Opera watches him disappear before sighing and looking at the child nestled in their arms. They walk to the living room and grab a fluffy blanket and swaddle them in it loosely enough that it would not be uncomfortable, but tightly enough that it would warm them up. They then lay them on the couch and get a fire going in the fireplace to hopefully dry and warm them quicker. Then they sit in front of the couch and stare for a bit, studying their delicate features.
Their ears twitch at the sound of the other resident also coming home late. They wonder if they should leave the child and go greet Iruma, risking them getting up and lost (or even worse, walking into the fireplace), or if they should play it safe.
Before they made up their mind, the sound of Iruma’s hurried footsteps get closer and closer. “Oh! Opera th-!” The loud boy is quickly hushed.
“Shh! Speak softly.” Opera interrupts and puts their index up to their lips to demonstrate.
“Huh? Why?” Iruma whispers and looks around, quickly spotting the other human and gasping. He comes to kneel next to Opera and looks at them. “Where did this child come from?” He quietly asks, tilting his head up to look at the Security Demon.
“Master Sullivan brought it home just a bit ago. He said he thought you might get lonely, being the only human here.” Opera explains simply and shortly.
“Oh, I see.” Iruma looks at the child, “so they’re a human too…” He smiles at the thought, before looking at Opera again, “but isn’t that dangerous? They look really young.”
“Hmm. Master Sullivan said to not worry about it. I also have such concerns, but let’s just try to keep it safe. I will do my utmost.” They declare.
Iruma laughs slightly. “You keep calling them an it.”
“Ah… Apologies. I will keep them safe.” They correct themselves and note to not be as rude in the future.
Once the child wakes, Opera, who was tidying up the living room as they had nothing else they could do while keeping an eye on the child, notices immediately and approaches quietly. “Good… Evening, young one.” They greet and get on their knees to appear less frightening.
However, it seems to not work well, as the child gasps and sits up quickly, eyes fixed on Opera. They clutch the blanket tightly like a shield and tense up.
After a brief staring contest, Opera takes in a breath to speak up, but the child says something in tones and sounds that the demon had never heard in their life. It sounds scared, panicked and is a bit loud. Perhaps a hostile threat. Everything was unfamiliar after all.
They decide that an introduction might get them to ease up a bit. “My name is Opera, I am the Sec-” They’re cut off by the child leaping off the side of the couch and making a run for it. It seemed as though them talking made them even more scared.
Opera catches them with ease. They swoop their arms under the child’s armpits and lift them off the ground, managing their struggling and squirming with only a little bit of difficulty. ‘Perhaps Master Sullivan had yet to make sure the human understands the Netherworld tongue.’ They thought to themselves as they place the child back on the couch, holding them still for a moment in hopes of them understanding to stay put.
The chairdemon was working. It’d be better not to disturb him, or he might get distracted and not work for the rest of the evening at all. Opera decides the other resident is a better choice, and may even calm the afraid human a little.
Not wanting to leave the child alone while they fetch him and also not wanting to drag them all the way to Iruma’s room, they decide to take out their hellphone and send a quick text, urging him to come to the living room.
Soon enough, Iruma skips his way over. “Are they awake?” He asks with a big smile and hops on over.
“Yes, but I’m afraid they don’t understand me. As a human, perhaps you could communicate with them to soothe them. I have to give them a bath, and I’d like to get it done before dinner.” Opera takes a step back.
“Oh, yeah. I had completely forgotten that the human world and Netherworld use different languages.” Iruma comments and walks over to the child, leaning down to be more at their level. “Hey there, little guy. I’m Iruma, and I’d like to welcome you to our home.” He smiles kindly. Opera watches the two, and the smaller did clearly ease up a bit hearing words they understood.
“That’s Opera,” Iruma points to the red haired demon, “they take good care of everyone that lives here and said that they would like to give you a bath. Is that okay? I know you must be scared, trust me, I was super scared too when I first got here. But honestly, it’s not so bad here. I promise you that Opera won’t hurt you. They’re really reliable.” The boy explains, and the child answers something back.
Opera could understand Iruma just fine, but the same couldn’t be said for the other human, so they patiently wait for an answer from the young master.
After some more conversing, Iruma turns to Opera and speaks, “okay, so they said that they’ll take a bath, but on one condition.”
“Which would be…?”
“They said I have to be there. That’s fine right?”
Gentle relief eased the clouds of worry in Opera’s head as they agreed to the terms. They were glad this child was easy to calm, even if they were still scared. Anyone would be.

I wrote this with afab Kabukimono in mind and amab reader in mind but interpret it as you wish
Word Count: 433

"I can't. I can't, I can't, I can't, I can't...." Is what the sweet, innocent Kabukimono chanted along quiet whimpers.
"Shhh... It's okay, doll, you can do it. All you have to do is stay quiet." [Name] assured as they kept thrusting into the poor puppet.
"I'm telling you... I can't... N-not for much longer..." The smaller whined as he trembled. [Name] pushed him further into the woodem door.
"You don't want Niwa to hear you, do you?" They asked, to which Kabukimono shook his head and bit his delicate bottom lip. "Mhm? So keep hush. I won't push you too much." [Name]'s hand gently caresses Kabukimono's bare side, sending shivers down said Kabukimono's spine.
"I-I... Mmngh... It feels like my legs are g-gonna give up on me... [Name].." He moaned out quietly.
"I've got you. It's fine." They assure.
Kabukimono focused on the lively chatter of Niwa and Katsuragi, and whoever else beyond [Name]'s bedroom door. He had never been taken so publically before, but it did feel exciting, as promised. Though, he did desperately wish to be as loud as he wanted like usual. Not that he's complaining, this kind of attention always feels like nothing he's felt before.
As his thoughts drift, so does his volume. He's brought back to reality by [Name] placing a hand over his mouth. "Mmmh-!?"
"Shhh... You're too loud. They'll hear you. Wouldn't that be embarrassing?" They gently kiss along Kabukimono's neck and eases their hand to swipe against his cheek in a comforting way.
"S-sorry... Ah... So sorryy... Mnnh.." Kabukimono shuts his eyes and tries to focus on staying quiet once more. But he was so, so close. It only gets worse as [Name] hits the spot inside him that makes him twitch and get hot all over. "I can't!" He whisper-yells. It was barely audible, as he was already panting like he had ran a marathon.
To solve the issue, the hand on Kabukimono's cheek guides his head to the side and his lips meet their lover's. [Name] swallowed and muffled all the noises from the poor puppet as they kept moving against the most sensitive area.
Kabukimono shook like a leaf as he finally feels what he's been silently praying for and his liquids stain the floor below his feet that are doing their best to keep him up.
[Name] starts slowing down until they slip out before pulling away from Kabukimono and catching their breath. "There you go, doll... And it sounds like our guests are none the wiser." They smile and lead Kabukimono to sit on the bed.
