Idk what it is with me lately, but I’m just constantly craving cream soda. Maybe its just finals stress or that my fav soda (which is NOT cream soda) is rarely in stores, but i just constantly want cream soda, and then more cream soda.

Imagine Grace defined his name as the elegance definition of grace and Rocky spends years thinking how fucking ironic this clumsy leaky space blobs name is.

Until Grace slips out a sentence along the lines of "could you give me a little grace here" and Rocky immediately points out he used a word wrong so Grace has to explain that yeah, grace means elegance but it can also mean mercy sometimes too.

And Rocky has to suddenly reconcile that the clumsy leaky blob that saved his life twice, that almost certainly doomed himself to come back for him, name is Mercy.

just thinking about the trolley problem in regards to phm and it’s like. This is your best friend, your superior, the woman who kidnapped you from your house and dragged you halfway across the world, and continued to bring you along to important meetings like a pet.

She is looking at you with a solemn expression, but her eyes give away emotion. She feels no guilt. She is holding you down and tying you to the tracks, never looking away from you the whole time.

She is lying down next to you now, no ropes in place to bind her, just you two together, eyes shining in the light of the oncoming trolley.

she whispers to you, ‘you are my solution’, but she is the world’s solution, the scapegoat to your sacrificial lamb.

Brother I watched Project Hail Mary like idk approx 2-3 weeks ago and let me tell you

I CANT GET THEM OUT OF MY HEAD

I cant go a day without thinking about those dumbasses stuck in space, the absolute wet cat that is Dr. Ryland Grace and his platonic soulmate Rocky, better known as leaky space blob and scary space monster.

I have read more fanfiction about those genius morons in the last two weeks than i have willingly read books in my freetime in my entire life- Hell the movie and fandom made me want to buy and read the PHM book!! (Havent yet- really really want to-)

The fanart? Everyone’s is gorgeous, I love it all, it’s all amaze amaze amaze- I drew my own!! I feel a constant urge to draw more!! Hell I want to write my own fanfiction even (lacking plot ideas thus far unfortunately-)

I cannot properly articulate how strong of a chokehold this movie and its cast; consisting of a kicked puppy and a sentient rock, has on me.

The Eridian science teams try soooo hard to be soooo normal about Grace. "He helped save our entire planet, we cant experiment on him!" "Hes a whole ass intelligent being, the biodome isnt like a zoo enclosure at all we swear." "Rocky might actually kill us if we try and add enrichment things to the biodome just to see what happens. It'll seem like an insult to Grace's intelligence."

Meanwhile Grace is just waiting in anticipation for someone to ask for a chunk of his hair or something. Hes lowkey curious as to what theyd find. Hes fine with being a creature to them its chill he gets it as a fellow intellectual and all around curious guy who insisted on watching Rocky eat.
