I cannot tell you how much I hate the implication that I “identify” as gay. I reject the suggestion that my homosexuality is an identity. When I say I’m gay, it isn’t a statement of identity, it is a statement of material, irreducible, absolute biological fact. It’s as immutable as the colour of my eyes.
present-day "feminists" who defend corsets (and not those corsets meant to improve posture, but those that were created to give the female body an artificial, strict shape) saying they were "actually not oppressing at all! they were in fact really comfortable, convenient and even empowering! no relation to female body policing and oppressive beauty standards of course!" and they attack past feminist movements (formed precisely by women who had spent their whole lives wearing corsets) that fought against them and successfully liberated all of us, future generations of girls and women, from having to wear one... you should feel ashamed of yourselves
one thing you have to take into consideration while reading my posts is that i am a natural brunette
Picnic at Hanging Rock (1975)
adult seeing a child making a political statement with which the adult agrees: the wisdom of children, truly incredible, you know so much at such a young age, you are going places, little one. My hope for the future is restored. The kids are All Right.
adult seeing a child making a political statement with which the adult does not agree (correct): what adult is manipulating this child
John Wayne tried to assault Sacheen Littlefeather at the 1973 Oscars. But let’s keep talking about how the “slapping incident” was the award show’s darkest moment ever.
"As she delivered the speech John Wayne was furious. She later said, “During my presentation, he was coming towards me to forcibly take me off the stage, and he had to be restrained by six security men to prevent him from doing so.”
Besides John Wayne's abhorrent behavior other celebrities like Clint Eastwood, Raquel Welch and Michael Caine also piled on.
John Wayne quote is taken right from a Playboy interview.
so woody allen (married his daughter) and roman polanski (convicted predator) can win several oscars without repercussions… but will smith can’t slap a man without his award being reconsidered and everyone ganging up on him?
"Learn how to fight or make it funny" He gets it.
“i don’t condone violence, but-” well i DO. stop pussyfooting around. if that was my wife, event security would have had to drag me out
If you think gay people are queer, you are a homophobe.
If you call gay people queer, you are a homophobe.
Gay people are normal people. Our sexuality is natural and healthy. If you think it makes sense to describe us as queer, you are a homophobe.
does everything have to be an ethics debate cant we just watch a man slap another man on television and go “huh” and gossip and move on
straight ppl ‘’fighting to be together against all odds’’ in movies/books be like
