I hope you had a beautiful day today. If it happens to be morning when you read this, I hope today is gentle with you. I hope you find little reasons to smile. I hope something reminds you that life can still be kind.
Today was busy, but somehow you kept finding your way into my thoughts.
I don't know your name. I don't know your face. I don't know what your voice sounds like, or what country you call home. Maybe we've already crossed paths without knowing it. Maybe we won't meet for years. But somehow, I still think about you.
Lately I've been thinking about how people are mirrors. They arrive in our lives and quietly reflect the way we love ourselves.
When we don't pour enough love into ourselves, they often don't either. When we abandon ourselves, they slowly walk away too. The love we believe we deserve somehow becomes the love we continue to accept.
It made me wonder who we'll be when we finally meet.
Will I have learned to be kinder to myself by then?
I hope we meet each other after we've both discovered that we were always worthy of the kind of love we spent so long searching for. I hope we don't expect each other to fix what only we could heal. I hope we simply choose each other because our hearts finally feel like home.
I started writing these little letters without knowing who would read them. Maybe they'll reach strangers. Maybe they'll reach you one day.
If they do, I hope you feel safe here.
I hope, even for a few minutes, these words make you feel a little less alone.
Maybe I'll keep writing like this.
Until we meet, wherever you are, I'll keep believing that somewhere in this enormous world, you're becoming the person I'm already grateful exists.
