marriage is taught to kids and talked about as like the ultimate form of love, the natural endgame for a relationship, but functionally, it is primarily an economic contract. bind together your finances, be able to adopt, get to decide what happens when the other dies. but all this legal bullshit is still tied to, like, expectations of living together, romantic and sexual monogamy, labor from the woman (we know marriage is built For The Hets, right?), social stuff. pinkie promise im the only person youll fuck ever and we can buy a house.

to be clear im not saying never get married, im saying marriage is a crass, practical legal procedure and should be done for crass, practical legal reasons. and never marry a man who won't do dishes.

im probably some kind of asshole but i'm so so angry at people who've never had to deal with mental illness for giving their shitty advice. ' Call the help center '' do you know how they fucking treat you there? '' get a therapist and some meds!!!' i've seen 6 therapists. i've been on 10 différents meds. ''it's just temporary!!' it's been 15 years '' ask for help '' what fucking help? the only thing that happens is being treated like shit, getting told people have it worse and you're exagerrating, you talk about how you're suffering and constantly want to end it and all they have to say is ' uh ok i can give you some meds if you promise to get a job '

all they want is for you to get a job, to be useful to society because you're not a person if you don't make money for others i've been trying for YEARS to talk about how i feel and all their answers have been ' well have you tried forcing yourself more ' or telling me they can help me get a job

the only reason i even see a psych is because they'll cut me off of my disability aid else.

The fact that you cannot even talk about being suicidal without being threatened with being forcibly committed is horrible btw. We shouldn’t have to sanitize our thoughts and play Good Mentally Ill Person™️ and talk in a very careful way or risk being restrained against our wills. Therapists will say “emotions mean something” yet never look at what someone feeling suicidal means. It’s never framed as “Why are you suicidal? What are the reasons and and how can I help you move away from that?” Being suicidal is almost always treated as a threat. It’s stopping people from seeking help and potentially getting better because they’re too scared about the consequences of something they never asked to experience that is distressing to feel.

here's the bit from the termination email telling you you can make a new account as long as it doesn't break the same rule

here's the guidelines for what counts as explicit (not mature, aka grounds for content deletion)

here's the section telling us that you will always be able to respond to content getting flagged as explicit (lie)

here's the section where it says you will be notified when your accunt gets terminated, and that the appeals are reviewed by humans (both lies)

and by the way, posting a single thing against ToS isn't supposed to be grounds for deletion, (this is what the termination email is warning you about)
