Yesterday evening answering emails and finish tasks with some chamomile tea.
may this energy find you in 2026
1.1.26 - welcome 2026. It’s snowing outside and the house is warm.
academic dishonesty is not something you can spin as moral lol i do not want to share a career field let alone a social sphere with a bunch of chatgpt using ass bitches
"you're just scared your diploma is going to devalue" i'm afraid you dumb bitches are going to become my colleagues and drag social services to hell
15.12.25 🌥️ pre-christmas uni stress hits on an entirely different level. what's in the air that's making the profs act like this. where did all these presentations come from. who am i.
CHATGPT IS NOT A SEARCH ENGINE
CHATGPT IS NOT A SOURCE OF INFORMATION
CHATGPT IS NOT STUDY NOTES
CHATGPT IS NOT A WRITING TOOL
CHATGPT IS NOT YOUR FRIEND
"what did students do before chatgpt?" well one time i forgot i had a history essay due at my 10am class the morning of so over the course of my 30 minute bus ride to school i awkwardly used by backpack as a desk, sped wrote the essay, and got an A on it.
six months later i re-read the essay prior to the final exam, went 'ohhhh yeah i remember this', got a question on that topic, and aced it.
point being that actually doing the work is how you learn the material and internalize it. ChatGPT can give you a short cut but you won't build you the the muscles.
someone else said on a chatgpt post that usimg it to study is like using a forklift to lift weights.
The goal of weight lifting is not to have weights moved, the weights are a tool to develop your muscle mass and help improve and maintain your body's function.
The goal of homework is not to produce essays, the essays are a tool to develop your ability to take in information, process that information, and communicate your own ideas effectively.
Dont use a forklift in the gym. Dont use chatgpt in the brain gym.

i submitted my final PhD application monday night. there's still a long road ahead and i'm already having stress dreams about interview invites, but at least i'm done with the part where i write 17 slightly different versions of my statement of purpose.
Studying some trig before I move onto calculus. I've got to be honest tho, the shorter days are getting to me. I'd much rather read (borrowing my sister's kindle to see how I like it), or watch a silly show than study. And it's stressing me out.
08.05.2025 // lsat study date at a cafe! just a friend locking in together with me, my wrong answer journal, lawhub advantage, and a delicious affogato.
i haven’t been keeping up with this blog very much lately, but this summer has seen me spending many hours preparing for the lsat. my test date is on saturday, and once that’s done, i’ll be working on applications for the upcoming cycle.

Didn't have any lectures today so I spent most of the morning in my room doing readings for an essay I have due on Friday. This is my first assessed essay of the year, and I'm still getting used to academic referencing and how to find sources. After lunch I had a stroll into town and picked up some fruit and bread as well as a few essentials. I spent the rest of the day in the library, attempting to plan my essay. It's really feeling like the end of autumn here - all the trees are bare, and every day is dark and rainy. At least it makes for some cosy study sessions!

I’m back in the café! This part of the course has been very intense, and also I’ve been working quite a bit, so I’ve been feeling very busy lately. But there’s nothing to do but power through - and it is interesting, and I like the work I do, so it is enjoyable, despite being a little stressful.

Notetaking for the theory part of my project pre-lecture this morning & post-dinner this evening :) despite my concerns re: the programming side, I’m finding the reading interesting so I’m tentatively enthusiastic about it so far…
