something about this little expression breaks my heart.

pete jumps slightly when vegas drops the bowl but then he just stares down at it for a second with this look of... resignation and i'm reminded of that quote about if you were raised with an angry man in your house there will always be an angry man in your house. it's the look of an abused kid who knows what's coming next and knows he can't do anything to stop it. it's so fucking painful to see.
