I can't remember what post it was but somebody once posited that part of the reason why SY!SQQ is like catnip to most of the cast of SVSSS/PIDW is because he's Airplane's type, Airplane sort of created everyone, and so it carries through to the point where all of the characters who have The Hand of God touch their personality inherit being down bad for this one weird internet critic.

Which is a hilarious notion but it occurs to me that this, if true, would have equally funny implications about Mobei Jun. Who is designed by Airplane to be his ideal man (both in the sense of representing the masculine ideal, and also in the sense of Airplane wanting to climb him like a tree).

Because like... is everyone also just kind of lowkey into Mobei Jun, too, then? Are they all having moments where they're doing spit takes mid-battle like, damn that guy's curiously attractive for a demon???
