Well this took on a life of its own. Less a comic and more of an inconsistent sprite pack of the PHENOMENAL drabble posted by @spacebatisluvd last week which is now a finished fic!!!! (And when you’re done reading that, head straight to their Entrapdak Drabbles and read the coffee chapter for the BEST POST WAR POLITICS piece EVER. I love it, the tone is *chef’s kiss.* If you’re in this fandom you’ve likely read everything in their inventory multiple times through but here’s an excuse to do so again.)
I really really *really* love this fic because it really epitomises exactly what I think Hordak and Catra’s relationship would eventually evolve into. I love when retired cartoon villains become too well adjusted for the same levels of nefariousness as before so they embrace pettiness in their old age instead. I love how they’re such good parallels of each other. I love how in season 4 they had such a bizarre friendship??? where Catra gives the ‘we don’t need our exes’ speech and the two of them keep reassuring one another that yes, if they blow up enough things then they definitely won’t be sad about their girlfriends leaving them anymore. I loved how Hordak tried to give her validation even though at that point in Catra’s spiral it wasn’t enough to fill the void. I love how she recognised enough of herself in him to know full well he was lying to himself about Prime ever accepting him. I like to think that after some initial animosity their relationship will settle into something that looks exactly like this.
P.S. If you’re stressed these make fun colouring pages even if it is just Hordak’s abs over and over and over again. I’ve had people kindly ask permission before so here’s an explicit invitation. Go wild. :)
ahdhsajsk. this is so wholesome
A small list of random ass sites I’ve found useful when writing:
Fragrantica: perfume enthusiast site that has a long list of scents. v helpful when you’re writing your guilty pleasure abo fics
Just One Cookbook: recipe site that centers on Japanese cuisine. Lots of different recipes to browse, plenty of inspiration so you’re not just “ramen and sushi”
This comparing heights page: gives you a visual on height differences between characters
A page on the colors of bruises+healing stages: well just that. there you go. describe your bruises properly
McCormick Science Institute: yes this is a real thing. the site shows off research on spices and gives the history on them. be historically accurate or just indulge in mindless fascination. boost your restaurant au with it
A Glossary of Astronomy Terms: to pepper in that sweet terminology for your astrophysics major college au needs
Adding to this since I’m working on a shifter au one-shot:
Canine Body Language
Feline Body Language
More:
Cocktail Flow: a site with a variety of cocktails that’s pretty easy to navigate and offers photos of the drinks. You can sort by themes, strengths, type and base. My only real annoyance with this site is that the drinks are sometimes sorted into ~masculine~ and ~feminine~ but ehhhh. It’s great otherwise.
Tie-A-Tie: a site centered around ties, obviously. I stumbled upon it while researching tie fabrics but there’s a lot more to look at. It offers insight into dress code for events, tells you how to tie your ties, and has a section on the often forgotten about tie accessories
Even more:
Types of High Heels: A page describing twenty five different types of high heels. It gives a description and pictures. Shake it up from just “stilettos and kitten heels”
Random Job Generator: Exactly as it says. The site offer more generators like characters, plots, or town names.
Glossary of Hosiery Terms: Figure out what is what on a pair of stockings.
Men’s Dress Shoe Guide: A quick guide describing the eight most common types of men’s dress shoes. Pics included.
Types of Women’s Coats: Descriptions and pics of various different types of coats.

Noir Princesses by Astor Alexander
the remote, secluded and little known rice terraces of yuanyang county in china’s yunnan province were built by the hani people along the contours of ailao mountain range five hundred years ago. during the early spring season, the terraces, once planted, are irrigated with spring water from the forest above, reflecting sunlight to create these stain glass like landscapes

actually there were 0 time travellers on the Titanic, because the time cops have an entire outpost to safeguard that one particular point in history. every rookie spends a least a month on Titanic duty and they all complain bitterly about it since it is, essentially, the time travel equivalent of being the guard who has to stop tourists from licking the Liberty Bell.
listen. LISTEN. there's going to be somebody, maybe several somebodies, at the travel hub who's dressed nice and knows all the right words and swears back and forth that they can sell you the credentials that will get you into the Titanic's timespace. they'll sell you IDs that pass you and your friends off as 23rd century history students or, worse, some 24th century brats who will go crying to their corporate sponsors if you ruin their paid vacation.
the IDs will look very impressive. they will not come cheap. they will not help you.
there's no checkpoint to bluff your way through and nobody who wants to hear you try. if you try to time travel anywhere near the Titanic, whether you try to board with all the other passengers or appear on the boat in the middle of the voyage, you will get slammed directly into a whitespace dragnet - a time bubble, in layman's terms.
and you will be surrounded by at least a dozen time cops, all of whom are bored and cranky and very eager to flex their newfound authority, which means they will absolutely detain you for as long as possible and insist on giving you a lecture when a slap on the wrist would do. if you talk back they might double your fine or even suspend your chronal permissions for up to a year.
and then they'll send you back to the hub in your period piece clothing that will suddenly look very stupid, and the guys who sold you the ideas will have fucked off to 1998 by then and you won't have a chance in hell of getting your money back, and what I'm saying is that it's not worth it, dude. it's just not worth it.
This is too specific to not be from experience
what are you, a time cop?
This is probably the cutest
This is the perfect pet for people who want to keep a small container of water with something pretty in it. Even though it’s a plant and not a fish, it’s way cuter than a sad, cramped betta- and less maintenance, too. A marimo is perfect for that pretty aesthetic or your college dorm room. Want a mason jar aquarium? A marimo will be perfectly happy in there. Want a fishbowl with pretty rocks? Get a marimo, or even a few of them! I can’t overstate how wonderful and cute marimo are.
They’re also super great for large fish tanks! They help with keeping the tank clean and do just fine in fish tanks regularly taken care of!
