Oh man, these are so cool!

I have to admit, it was tricky to figure out whether these were pictures of cosplayers or traditional/digital art. In fact, I’m still not 100% sure, so maybe I’m about to make a fool of myself as I go on to say how awesome it is that Monkeyjay managed to make them look so real!

It kind of reminds me of my reaction to this piece of Star Wars art, actually. :)

Making someone homeless is not on that list. I repeat: None of those things are violence. To say they are is an unforgeable mark of someone who’s never really experienced violence.

It’d be nice if we had a word for things that can be just as deadly as violence, which has the same emotional impact “violence” does. A lot of rhetoric along the lines of “X does not justify violence” gets to sneak in the implication that violence is an escalation in harm caused, without having to argue that this is the case.
