Nancy, Steve, Jonathan and Robin have gone unsupervised long enough. They literally mess up every season. Mike should lead them in season 5. He is the heart after all.

I would love to see at least one interaction between these two characters in season 5.

My Initial thoughts on Vol. 2.

I need to get some of my initial thoughts out:

1. Millie is amazing this season. Papa talk in the underground base was so emotional and then again outside as he was dying. I loved El got closure and said “goodbye papa” 

2. Millie still looks so cool with a shaved head.

3. Eddie play Master of Puppets in an alternate dimension to lure Demon bats to him was definitely the most Metal thing I have ever seen.

4. Hopper literal cut the head off of a Demogorgon with He-man’s sword.

5. Mike’s speech to El was more beautiful than i thought it would. I saw coming a mile away but it was still so heartfelt. 

6. I love Will’s painting. Will is right Mike and Eleven are the heart and soul of Stranger Things.

7. Eddie was very inspiring. He didn’t run this time.

8. Listening to Lucas and Dustin cry cut a piece of my insides out with a knife.

9. Watching Murray flamethrower demo dogs and Demogorgon was more satisfying than I thought it would be.

10. The reunions were perfect.

11. I’m so glad Robin and Vickie were connecting at the end. I melted when Robin saw that guy kiss Vickie.

So much more but these are my first thougts. I loved it so much. Nothing makes me happier to see Stranger Things stick the landing on this amazing season.

I am starting to think Will is Evil. The way Agent lady looked at Will in the beginning of Ep 4. Also the way he was treating Eleven and his looks towards Eleven I think he will be revealed as evil in Vol. 2.

Jason, Stranger Things 4.

All the fans complain about Mike being whiny and emo and being a dick to people in season 2 because he is mourning and going through depression. But everyone praising Max in season 4 because she is doing the same thing and acting like ST is breaking new ground for showing mourning and depression. This fandom is weird af.

Will use to be in my top 5 favorite characters. The last two season he has become my least favorite. He was not very good in Season 3 and Season 4 he is worst. He’s whiny complains all the time. He can’t let his friend and his girlfriend have some time together. He treats Eleven like garbage. He didn’t even stand up for her against the bullies. I kinda hope he is written out of the show somehow.

I guess Eddie will be Vecna's next victim. I am sure Eddie has some trauma in his past. It seems like a new beloved character dies every season. Barb, Bob, Alexi, now Eddie.

I like mike and el’s relationship because it feels like a subversion of the traditional male superhero/female romantic partner and emotional tether trope that makes up the majority of superhero narratives. it’s like gender-bent lois and clark or peter and mary-jane, etc. and despite the traumatic circumstances that made it happen, even the element of mike having long hair and el having a short buzzcut contributes to the standard subversion and makes them look quite iconic together

Jim Hopper | Stranger Things 4
