When guessing, it's better to trust your first instincts and not second guess yourself.
If you don't love yourself, how can you love others?

Wonder
Julia Magicals: I wonder...how come people always either overestimate or underestimate themselves personally?
Is that just part of human nature? Do some of us like exaggerate or flatter about our skills and ourselves? Or are they being honest?
This is a personal question I have for all of you. Nobody has to answer it out loud, but you should ponder about this question truly, or do you already know your answer?
There are multiple reasons for people to overestimate/underestimate themselves:
- They flatter themselves and their skills mentally, but verbally deny it, just to be modest.
- They are truly being honest, and are just scared that they might truly mess up in something, even if it might be something that they are good at.
- They feel shy and can't find the courage to admit it, so they deny it.
- They believe that they are really good at something no matter how bad they seem in others' eyes.
- They want to fit into a specific social group, so they avoid revealing their true skills(whether they know it or not) by underestimating or overestimating them depending on the social group and/or skills.
- They don't want to get their hopes up.
- They don't want to discourage themselves.
These are just some ideas that came to my mind, but there are truly much, much more. People have insecurities about themselves and their skills, and so do I.
I don't want anyone to overestimate themselves so they won't get overconfident and end up losing their game. But I don't want anyone to underestimate themselves so that they can have hope in themselves and their skills.
I enjoy being a writer and a joyful person. But I'll admit that I have my insecurities as well, and sometimes there will be a long way before I could cross that obstacle in my life.
I know that everyone had at least overestimated/underestimated themselves at least once in their lives. All I want to say is that I hope you are being yourselves without doing anything to change who you are.
Beauty lies not in the outer beauty, but it depends on the value of inner beauty.
Beauty lies within the eye of the beholder.

Why Should I?
Why should I dress like someone else? Where will that take me? How long will I have to carry it out?
Why should I act like completely another person? How long will I have to act? How am I going to live like that?
For those who do copy other people's styles, thoughts, and ways of life, let me tell you something that's very important!
Trying to be like someone else, whether it was in the way you dress or the way you act, ruins YOUR style! How long can you survive being someone else's shadow? You do have your own style, but you can't even see it yet, can you?
If someone doesn't like you for you, then ditch them and let them be; they are meaningless people in your life. You deserve much better! People should like you for you, and if they don't then who the f*** cares?! Don't waste your breath or a moment on those people, because if they do care about you, then they should know that you're no shadow.
You're a HUMAN BEING! You got your own wonderful and unique style that stands out wonderfully, so don't care about the people who tell you otherwise! You have your own free will. You make your own choice, no one else, no matter who they can be.
Saying that you don't have a choice is a complete lie because you always have a choice, but they somethings aren't favorable to you. Love yourself first! Care for yourself first! Because if you can't love yourself, then how can you have enough love to love other people in your life. You're your own instrument that plays in harmony with others, in your own style and form, in a way that woos the crowd, so be confident in yourself!
You aren't a shadow, you're a leader and a soldier in your own dream! So have confidence and be yourself!
Turn your cannot into a can! Make your dream into a plan!
Why should you dress like someone else, when you have your own style?
Only when you fully experience something, can you fully understand it.
Pain is a weakness that's leaving the body.
