Welcome to this silly little blog created, dedicated, and ran by the one and only MockeryLloyd!!

If you’ve known me from other websites such as DeviantArt, Archive Of Our Own, or most importantly Wattpad, then you’ve come to the right place. I’m just a little dork who specializes in creating and planning out wild scenarios of my silly ideas and animal characters doing things that the normal human mind would perceive as “unusual” or “strange”.

The profile banner you’re seeing is everything you need to know to there is about me, such as my age and whatever.

I’m a tad bit nervous and grumpy most of the time, but this shouldn’t stop you from interacting though. I’ve just been trying to manage my emotions whenever possible when around others, hopefully it improves in time.

Roy Sonar (👑/🦌) — Prince (or king) of the Sommer Deer. Arrogant and prideful asf, but he means well in the group. If he acts up, slap him.

Mock (🖼️/🦁) — Lion bastard with an inferiority complex and is always trying to one up Mod Lee. They’re super annoying and I often tell them to stfu. They mean well in the group.

Lee (😈/🐺) — Wolf possessed by a demon. Has eaten Mock on numerous occasions with the use of Leech Fang, their demon. He’s peaceful most of the time and helps run the blog.

I don't know about you, but I've been noticing a horrendous pattern when it comes to the left and Gen Z in general; it's the fact that they'll constantly claim that they're against body-shaming, but will proceed to call you a fat, ugly man who hasn't showered in months all because you slightly had a different opinion than them, or because they merely percieved you and just dislike you as a result.

It's happened to me quite a lot because I've had some differing opinions with them, and it's just pathetic, honestly. What happened to all of that "peace and love" persona you were putting up just now? Where did it go?

I've been resource gathering for YEARS so now I am going to share my dragons hoard

Floorplanner. Design and furnish a house for you to use for having a consistent background in your comic or anything! Free, you need an account, easy to use, and you can save multiple houses.

Comparing Heights. Input the heights of characters to see what the different is between them. Great for keeping consistency. Free.

Magma. Draw online with friends in real time. Great for practice or hanging out. Free, paid plan available, account preferred.

Smithsonian Open Access. Loads of free images. Free.

SketchDaily. Lots of pose references, massive library, is set on a timer so you can practice quick figure drawing. Free.

SculptGL. A sculpting tool which I am yet to master, but you should be able to make whatever 3d object you like with it. free.

Pexels. Free stock images. And the search engine is actually pretty good at pulling up what you want.

Figurosity. Great pose references, diverse body types, lots of "how to draw" videos directly on the site, the models are 3d and you can rotate the angle, but you can't make custom poses or edit body proportions. Free, account option, paid plans available.

Line of Action. More drawing references, this one also has a focus on expressions, hands/feet, animals, landscapes. Free.

Animal Photo. You pose a 3d skull model and select an animal species, and they give you a bunch of photo references for that animal at that angle. Super handy. Free.

Height Weight Chart. You ever see an OC listed as having a certain weight but then they look Wildly different than the number suggests? Well here's a site to avoid that! It shows real people at different weights and heights to give you a better idea of what these abstract numbers all look like. Free to use.

Because you keep policing people's headcanons, making fun of them and calling them horrible things, and on top of that, you're somehow claiming to be a safe space for people to express their creativity, yet turning around and harassing them anyways because you've made a billion exceptions to the "don't police people" rule and you think, like everyone else who's made their own exceptions, that your exceptions justify harassment.

So you're making fandom into a field of rat traps where nobody even dares interact with anyone, or shares art anymore, because you still might just attack them for it because they did something as simple as writing a canonically soft character as... a softie.

Let people do their "cringe" y/a romances, let people do their "gross" ships, let people write those characters as jerks or softies. Let them, and mean it when you say you'll let them, instead of soapboxing about it in a patronizing post but not really meaning what you're soapboxing about.

This never ceases to amaze me in every way possible. If Pinterest users are so big on this whole "be cringe and be free" thing, why is it that I keep finding them harassing others who actually are cringe? Hmm... I just don't know.

Like, I understand both of these things are considered bad by others, and it's okay to dislike them; no one is forcing you to like them. But obviously, you've gone too far if you start bullying people for liking it.

i really hate to break this to you, but no matter how palatable you try and make a fandom, ‘normal’ people will still think it’s weird. there is basically nothing you can do to make a fandom be perceived as ‘normal’ by people who are not in fandoms, especially if the fandom you’re trying to sanitise is an anime fandom.

fandom is not meant to be perceived as ‘normal’. fandom was built for the freaks, by the freaks /affectionate , and the only reason that people care about being perceived as ‘normal’ now is because of the influx of people entering fandom spaces during lockdown and shaming others for ‘weird’ content that’s been around since the dawn of fandoms.

if anyone tries to blame you/the content you make for how a fandom is viewed, they’re just a fandom cop trying to shame you into catering to them. do not listen to them.

i’m being so serious when i say this — the ‘weird’, or ‘problematic’, or ‘freaky’ content that you make is not harming your fandom in any way. in fact, it’s improving your fandom and playing a part in keeping your fandom alive, whilst also slowly-but-surely fighting back against the rising tide of puritans trying to destroy fandom culture. do not listen to anything a fandom cop has to say, it’s all purely self-serving virtue-signalling designed to shame others.
