Question. If the crown were to take full control of the Stepstones (coz of them sick trade deals), would making marriage alliances with the triarchy be possible, and would it work?

Someone please help me 💀. I'm making a house of the dragon au and the character is supposed to have a territory in the Crownlands or near it but I can't seem to find a land in Westeros that isn't fucking occupied by some lord. The maps all say these territories are already owned and some of them aren't big enough to be shared for what I plan for it.
"i was shot in the streets and you didn't call 🥺" probably bc louis 'i'll let you reload' du lac knew you'd be fine dude
Literally saw their heads roll, and my heart didn't even react for a second. There is no piece of media in this god's green earth where that has happened before, only for this series. Anyway, I guess the main ship is Devil's minion now.
Just finished hotd s3 ep1 & 2 last night and I cried my eyes out so much I got a migraine. Bruh, I was crying like Jace was my grandson and Rhaenyra is my daughter. It's that serious for me. I'm gonna lose my marbles when the inevitable comes for Rhaenyra.
Ok, so, I wanna talk about how it took TWENTY THREE YEARS for Armand to show himself as anything other than pristine to Louis, to the point that he came across as boring. He had bad nights with Louis too, but the time they exploded was just a one time smudge on the perfect 'painting of a couple' Armand tried to make for himself. A fantasy.
Then in this episode, he's letting Daniel push him around and actually arguing back. His mannerisms, the way he flails his arms, the way he turns around, even the way he jumps from being bitchy and pissy to being worried then desperate for Daniel to understand he was in love with him... It's the most human (and the loosest) we've ever seen Armand. He's not like that in the scene with Lestat. He's not like that in the concert (which Lestat made specifically so he could corner Armand and make him feel watched and ogled again by highlighting his desirability in his speech, which obviously pissed him off.)
Daniel already knows him, so why hide? In fact, he made his own little speech about how much he knows him, there's no reason to try to make a perfect painting of their lives, there's just... Comfort, in a way. Daniel is comfortable to tell Armand (a 500 year old vampire) that he is a bottom twink sociopath and Armand is comfortable to be pissed at Daniel for still thinking it's him doing the bond thing, because he is his maker, obviously he can't be in his head. Then Daniel feels comfortable enough to bypass all Armand's worries and ask him, with tears in his eyes, if he was just bullshitting him. Then Armand feels comfortable enough to tell him that no, of course not. I love you to the point of distraction. I love you. Believe me. Please.
Idk how they're gonna approach this going forward, tbh, as this is TVC, but this is already a good thing imho.
They were so fucking crazy for that. Literally salivating for more of the fact that Daniel is the only being in the entire fucking world that knows Armand and his bullshits and the only person he would drop all the pretending for because what's the use and also he likes Armand this way even back then too. I WANT MORE!! GIVE ME FUCKING MORE!!!
Is it just me who hates that Lestat and Gabs have a parallel scene of the alter scene in s1 ep1 when Les turns Louis? Like I dunno I fucking hate Gabs and how she treats her own son and I hate how Lestat makes this parallel between his mother and his ex husband. It's fucked to me. To me that scene was so poignant and beautiful and somewhat a catalyst for all things that came and went. But then we get a parallel of motherson incest maxxer here to that scene and somehow I'm upset about that. But I guess it does show that Lestat is somewhat similar to his mother. She talked to him during a vulnerable state just as he did with Louis. And just like how Louis was convinced by the prospects Lestat talks about, Lestat is convinced by Gabriella about prospects of whatever it is she wants and convinces Lestat it's also what he wants (maybe).
Yeah no this was it. This was how I reacted to this. I fr said "You're fucking crazy for that."
I have witnessed peak
Yeah no exactly this is it. He hates Armand for leaving him after turning him but feels vampire bond and wants to suck cock like sloppy toppy slobbering choking on it style.
Me as an Asian person being a Hudson Williams fan seeing the guy get hate crimed on the internet (for the 9000th time in the last 6 months) because racists/homophobic parasocial psychopaths wants to frame him and ruin his life and actually wants him to kick the bucket.
Genuinely wdyd when the guy that inspires you to be whimsical gets hate crimed on 24/7. Bro gets hate crimed on by drunk white teens during his teens and somehow he's the racist for getting that drawn on his forehead. Yeah coz that makes sense.
My favorite headcanon/canon divergence rn is Shane Hollander is so fucking hot he turns everyone a little gay. Like everyone. Even the gay guys get gayer with Shane. Scott? Already gay? Even gayer after Shane. Troy? Much gayer than he was in his relationship. JJ is straight? Wrong, gay. Yes even the metros. All of them just gets attacked by those wet big brown bottom eyes and they fold like a lawn chair immediately. Raging boners everywhere after Shane plays like a beast on the ice and wins them a game. Ilya gets an aneurysm but gets resurrected by the sheer force of his will and starts killing everyone who's shared a locker room with Shane and got a boner.
So I dunno if any of you read A stepmother's märchen but I just want to quickly discuss the visual storytelling in this manhwa. It just looks so beautiful and it serves more than just aesthetics as well. So in this chapter we get these panels (I have no idea if I interpreted these panels right btw but I still want to share).
The narrator is addressing someone specifically those who are "thirsty" they tell these people to look up to the sky because the dazzling waves of the golden ideal is up there which we get a panel of the sun. I have no interpretation for the next that the narrator says but then we see in the next panel is Richelieu which hints the narrator is talking about him.
Richelieu is the thirsty the narrator is telling to look up at the dazzling waves of the golden ideal. And saying that even if he claims it all he would still be greedy for more. Then finally the narrator says the last line.
"Stare deep into the thirst that has taken root into your soul"
And the panel shows us a glimpse of Shuri. If Richelieu is the thirsty that is being told to look up at the golden ideal which is the sun and at the same time being told to look at the thirst that has taken root into his soul with Shuri at the next panel looking like this
then Richelieu is a thirsting man who is greedy for power but even if he claims it all as the narrator says even if he succeeds in all his plans and becomes pope he will still thirst over it and that thirst is Shuri herself.
Then we get a panel of his eyes reflecting the sun (golden ideal) but not Shuri which could mean he's seeing the golden ideal and Shuri as the same. He wants the golden ideal and also has "thirst" in his soul and this could mean if he gains power (becomes pope) he thinks he's able to automatically have Shuri as well. Since the golden ideal is presented at the same time as Shuri so he's assuming if he succeeds he will also have her.
Also in the next chapter where we see a zoomed out version of the earlier panel of Shuri. The sun almost looks like a halo on Shuri it's like this really big halo on her that might represent him seeing her as somewhat divine and why he wants her? Honestly I have no idea but I think it's a really cool panel that may have more purpose than just aesthetics.
i will say one last thing before i stop tuning into this discourse for my sanity, but rachel/her fans thinking that the people criticizing her aren't intelligent enough to understand that shane isn't a real person IS the problem. y'all think we're just idiots who love to complain - we fucking KNOW shane isn't a real person, that's not the fucking point. the point is that YOU wrote a book and are actively capitalising on who and what those characters represent. you know who IS real?? all the asians and autistic folks who find the way that you wrote a character that you claim to represent them to be a bit offensive! so you being flippant about it is actually showing your true colours.
"you just don't understand rachel's humour" - no, i understand that SHE thinks she's funny, i'm not actually stupid like she thinks we are and i do actually understand that. i just don't personally find her sense of humour funny in the same way that i don't find comedians that punch down funny.

here's an expanded version of the primary poster comparison i made for this post btw in case y'all want a clearer visual wrt the antiblack double standard between how amc marketed s1-s2 (with louis as the title character and unambiguous lead) v s3 (with lestat as the title character and unambiguous lead)
