‘Of Arc’
Dennis Whitaker - The Pitt
Print available here
dennis who lays in bed with his romance books on his kindle, squirming around and humping the bed at the detailed sex scenes until Robby climbs in behind him and he goes stock still.
"What are you reading baby?" Robby's wrapping himself around Dennis.
The younger boy is doing his best to not give himself away. "Just, um a book. Trin recommended it."
Robby leans closer, kissing the sensitive spot below Dennis’ ear, voice low and raspy,
Yeah? What are they doing in your book?”
And then to move on to the action, recreating each scene step by step while Abbot reads aloud from the corner
I haven't been able to stop thinking about whether Jack, Robby, and Dennis are watching the World Cup, mainly because Jack made them. In my head, Jack watches all kinds of sports; he has the vibe of being the dad who watch the olimpics.
So he watches the World Cup; maybe he doesn't always watch football (almost never), but he always watches the World Cup without fail, and Robby knows this, They've been married for 20 years, but this is Dennis's first time in their relationship, and he's quite excited. He's buying things for the matches and start learning the rules and everything until Jack and Robby They realized they had created a monster who loves football, and now the games will always be playing on one of the televisions in the hospital.

YUHHH
Hucklerabbot AU, but it's Rabbot who take Dennis home after a party, sure they'll "destroy" the boy (in a good way), only to be surprised.
The parties thrown by Pitt's emergency department were definitely... something.
You'd expect calm and tranquility from professional doctors and nurses: something quick and easy, just long enough to have a laugh and go home.
Not this.
They were at a club in the heart of Pittsburgh's nightlife, Victoria dancing with Trinity to an old pop song, the purple and pink lights of the club making Robby dizzy, no longer used to all that movement.
"So, shall we do it?" Jack shouted in his ear, leaning closer and brushing his friend's earlobe with his lips to make himself heard. He pointed with his chin to a spot on the other side of the dance floor.
Jesse was twirling Dana, both of them laughing like kids, and next to them, Dennis Whitaker was sitting on a stool, a glass in his hand and his cheeks red, chuckling to himself as he watched his friends and colleagues let loose.
Robby looked at the boy, then at Jack, licking his lips gently as he tried to suppress a smile.
“You think he’ll pay attention to two old men like us?” he asked, looking straight at the boy.
Abbot snorted, gently pushing the man’s shoulder.
“Speak for yourself, I’m not old, and besides, have you seen the way he looks at us? He eats us up with his eyes. You know what they say about country boys, they’re amazing in bed.” He winked, and Robby rolled his eyes dramatically.
An hour later, they were in the couple's apartment. Dennis was sitting on the couch, a freshly opened can of beer in his hands, smoke still rising from the ashtray, his eyes darting around the room.
Jack sat down next to him, opening his can with one hand and wrapping his arm around the boy's waist.
Robby did the same, placing his own hand on Dennis's shoulder.
"So, shall we have some fun?" He took the can from the boy, placing it on the glass table in front of them, and proceeded to pepper his neck with small kisses.
Jack took a long drink from the can, licking the liquid from his upper lip before sliding his hands under the boy's shirt.
He stopped when Dennis's hands, smaller and softer, grabbed his wrists, blocking his path.
“Can we—can we talk or something? Maybe kiss a little before—” He was red, red as a ripe tomato, his blue eyes looked a little wet, his chest rising and falling with his breathing.
Robby also froze, lifting his face from the boy's neck, looking between him and his husband with a raised eyebrow.
“Dennis, are you a virgin?” he asked, not malice or anything, just out of curiosity.
Dennis groaned softly, closing his eyes and getting up from the couch, his knee bumping the table.
“Sorry if this wasn't the kind of night you were thinking of. I—I can take an Uber to go home, just—”
“Hey, hey, don't worry, no one here judges anyone, and no one has to leave.”
He thought about it for a moment.
“Unless you want to, of course.”
He looked at his two bosses, two older men with far more experience than him, before sitting back down with a sigh.
“It’s just that I want to do it. There were a few times where I wanted to, but then I panic, and every time I tell the other person I’m a virgin, they complain because they don’t want to babysit me.” He spoke in one breath, hugging his arms tightly to his chest.
“Well, they’re idiots,” Jack said as he took a sip from the can, smiling softly at the boy.
“There’s a first time for everyone, don’t you think? If you let us, we could… guide you.” Robby slowly approached, burying his nose in the straw-colored curls.
Dennis thought about it for a second or two before swallowing loudly and nodding.
“Okay, but I want to go slow, at least this time.” They both nodded.
“You set the pace, honey.” He put his hands back on the boy's waist, without slipping them under his shirt.
"So..." Jack continued, gently biting his lower lip.
"You mentioned kissing earlier, right?" He looked at him, feeling his heart skip a beat when he heard Dennis laugh.
The boy leaned in slowly, connecting their lips, while Robby returned to tickling his neck with kisses.

Trinity😈: Huckleberry, where are you? You didn't sleep at home last night! What foolish man dared to touch my best friend?
You: Good morning, Dr. Santos, don't worry, Dennis is safe and sound at Dr. Abbot's and mine, we'll have him back in one piece before lunch. See you later. -MR
Trinity😈: Oh shit.
Pre med era Rabbot are randomly assigned as roommates.
Jack is convinced on sight that Robby is gay. He just looks gay. Straight guys aren't that pretty.
And Jack is an ally, so he makes it super clear from the jump that he's pro-gay and everything homosexual is a-okay with him. Robby responds positively, but a bit awkwardly. Jack is sure he's just not used to so much outward support.
He talks about Robby with his friends and worries that maybe he wasn't clear enough on his allyship because Robby never brings guys home. One of his friends suggests that maybe Robby has a crush on him and that's why he never hooks up with anyone. He's too busy being sad about having a crush on a straight guy.
After that, Jack starts to notice everything Robby does to support the crush theory.
If their feet knock together while they're watching TV on the couch, Robby doesn't try to move them. He always brings extra food for Jack. He even paid when they went to see the new James Bond movie.
Jack feels like shit. He didn't mean to lead him on. Robby is so smart, and funny, and charismatic. He's a ton of fun to be around and the most considerate roommate Jack has ever had. He'll make some guy very happy someday.
He brainstorms ideas on how to subtly turn Robby down, but the more distance Jack puts between them, the more effort Robby puts into them spending time together.
Jack is at a party, without Robby, drunkenly mulling over his options, when he overhears some girl talking about experimenting with her roommate. She says something about trying it and deciding she wasn't into it, but was glad she got it out of her system.
Huh. Maybe Jack can do that for Robby.
He's not sure how well it'll work, considering Robby is actually gay, but maybe if they kiss, Robby will feel Jack's straightness and lose interest.
It's harder to kiss a guy than Jack thought it would be. Or... it's harder to find the opportunity. Every time Jack thinks he gets close he chickens out and spends hours kicking himself after.
They're sitting on the couch, feet not touching, but Jack relaxes an arm over the back. His fingers barely brush the sleeve of Robby's shirt. They both keep catching each other sneaking glances. Their eyes meet during a commercial, and Jack feels like he's going to burst. Then Robby says:
"Fuck it."
His mouth crashes against Jack's. It's nice. Really nice. Warm and wet. Not unlike kissing a girl, but maybe a bit more... insistent.
The kiss rolls into making out with Robby in his lap, then rutting against each other on the couch, then exchanging sloppy handjobs and an attempt at a blowjob in Jack's bed.
Jack wakes up the next morning, tangled up with Robby, more content than he has ever been before.
"That was fun," Jack whispers when Robby wakes.
"Yeah," Robby stretches. He's got an easy smile on. "I didn't think I'd like that as much as I did, but... you might've convinced me."
Jack shoves him lightly. "What does that mean? Do I not look like a good lay?"
"No, no," Robby laughs. "I just meant, like, because I'm straight. Or was, at least."
Jack's smile falls. "You're what?"
dennis and pope switch, but! they fight for the top position.
dennis knows how to wiggle around until he’s on top of pope, how to grind his hips in a way that makes pope absolutely melt. he knows how to play with his tongue with either his fingers or his own mouth until pope’s whining, begging. he knows how to grip pope’s cock just firm enough to make him fold in on himself, until he gives in, asks for more.
pope knows how to pin dennis down, how to hold him down and snarl at him until dennis submits. he knows how to how to hook his bicep around dennis’s neck and squeeze ever so gently until dennis starts to see stars and go a little limp. he picks dennis up and holds him against the wall and pins him there until he gets tired of trying to break free.
The other day I saw a comic where John Carter entered Pitt's universe, coming as new Intern from Chicago and starting the night shift.....So i kinda write this I HOPE YOU LIKE thank you 💖❤️🩹
Everyone started noticing the resemblance to Robby; he really looked like his long-lost son or at least a long-lost brother, but no, the last names didn't match.
The gossip grew bigger, the shift change was the most anticipated, Robby seeing his younger copy...25 years younger, both are perplexed but laugh, it is seeing themselves in the reflection of time which they both found funny.
But the other residents weren't so impressed, as Dennis and Santos reacted very differently when they arrived. Santos mocked Robby, immediately annoying him, while Dennis and John froze. They recognized each other; it wasn't the first time they'd met, and what had been memories of a single night would now become a regular occurrence.
If you spend a lot of time with someone, you start to look alike.
Crazy idea Dennis is quite cute/attractive and has some pretty iconic blue eyes, so the idea is that he did some modeling to support himself as a student, keeping it like a secret.
But when a patient recognizes him, and unfortunately for him, everyone finds out about those photos, he eventually gives in, saying that he was a clothing model, it's true, winter clothes, seasons, etc.
But when a married couple becomes obsessed with the blond guy, they discover it wasn't just casual wear... but also underwear. They can't help but recognize the pale skin with a few freckles. And those blue eyes like a wet dog, seeing them through a white rabbit mask....
Robby asking Dennis to housesit. Dennis going over and falling asleep in Robby's bed, waking up bright and early for his 7am shift. Leaving the kitchen kinda messy.
He comes back that night, exhausted, to see that the kitchen is now clean. Freaks out a bit but is ultimately too tired to think much about it. Assumes Robby pays for some kind of housekeeping he forgot to mention.
This pattern persists. Eventually he mentions it to Abbot.
"Housekeeping? What are you talking about, kid?"
"Y'know? Robby's housekeeping? Every day I came back after work and the entire apartment is completely cleaned. Thought at first someone was breaking in during the day just to clean!"
Abbot just laughs and pats Dennis on the back, walking away still smiling to himself. Dennis is a little confused but that was nothing new when leaving a conversation with Abbot.
He, again, forgets all about it.
Until he comes back after another long shift, he does his usual routine of dinner, some reading, a long shower (Robby's still paying for the electricity after all), changing into sleep clothes and finally heading to bed.
But what is that?
The sheets are all rumpled and there's a pair of crutches by the far bedside.
Through his efforts to not panic, he hears an all too familiar voice, "just lay down, kid, this beds big enough to fit like four people"
☆
Robby deciding forgetting to mention to Dennis that he shares a house with the night shift attending who is also his husband.
Dennis and Abbot decide to just share the space while Robby is gone, finding the other's presence comforting.
