Missing warmer weather.

I finished my work a bit early yesterday and was able to play around. It was really nice to slow down and take my time to just paint one thing and not have to rush to make a deadline or worry about the end result. I'm going to try to be better about taking time for more things like this next year <3.

Also looking at it this illustration is unconsciously influenced by @morse-illustration 's piece "Emerging" (because in the back of my mind I think about that one all the time haha. Also he is having a sale!!! Go check it out!! One of my great inspirations).

Been missing my passion project, HERE//after, that I’ve been slowly but surely working on with writer Jake Fox. I love working on this book, and it’s one of my most painterly projects, but unfortunately (as passion projects tend to do) it has to be worked on between other stuff.

Looking forward to getting back to it though. In the meantime, here is this quiet non-spoiler-y scene <3

Hello new followers!! Many of you are suddenly here, now, because of my "what is left" bee illustration and it being related to the #trc fan community.

I'm not sure if you guys found me because of this or not, but for those of you who don't know- I'm actually illustrating a DC Young adult rendition of SWAMP THING with Maggie Stiefvater!! The script is beyond amazing, and I am loving the crap out of doing this book with Maggie and DC!

Hopefully I'll be able to show you guys some art from the actual book soon, but in the mean stay tuned and let me know any questions you might have (and I'll try to answer what I'm allowed to!)

A cover I did for the "chosen one" series of variant covers for the BUFFY comics, showing slayers throughout time!

We the artists got to choose where and when we'd like to depict a slayer, and I really had a blast painting this :).

Hello! Thanks for rediscovering :). Unfortunately no, I won't be out at SDCC this year :(. I seem to miss the pro verification cut off every year, Haha. Maybe next year I'll finally be on the ball!
