i had a dream last night that the entire world used a currency (?) called angrypennies which as the name implies are obtained by experiencing anger. the stronger and more intense your anger was, the more angrypennies you'd gain. an all-consuming rage would earn you more than a slight irritation, etc. so people were always searching for ways to fuel their anger and purposefully keeping themselves angry all the time because they wanted to earn angrypennies. unclear if angrypennies could be exchanged for goods and services, or if they were just a collectible.

anyway, as if this wasn't heavy-handed enough, at one point british comedian greg davies appeared and explained that angrypennies couldn't be worth feeling angry all the time. this was a real revelation to dream-me and i was finally able to break free of the angrypenny grind and allow myself to experience emotions other than anger.

I like that the number of fingers animals have varies so ridiculously throughout the animal kingdom. humans* have 5 per limb. cats have 5 on their front limbs but 4 on their hind limbs. a lot of birds have either 4 or 3 digits per limb. ostriches and some sloths have 2 digits per limb. chameleons have 5 digits per limb but these are grouped and fused into functionally 2 digits. horses have 1 digit per limb. what are we even doing can we standardise this nonsense. imagine how embarrassing it'll be if aliens discover us and find out we still haven't agreed on what a sensible number of fingers is

I’ve been seeing many bad takes about Thaisha in ep18 and I’m here to say.. why does everyone criticize her 50x more? I mean I know why; it’s racism, but like come on. Personally, she’s one of my favourites, and I love her attitude towards the other characters. She’s strong in her convictions and she’s not willing to let anyone shove her around for it. This extends into her flaws of being stubborn and a little too headstrong sometimes, but that’s good! She is such a masterful character and she is NOT “hogging the spotlight” or some shit. Often, everyone else hems and haws about what to do next, she is not “being the main character” for making a strong suggestion while everyone else is being indecisive! So many people only talk about her when she interacts with Occtis- I am a little guilty of this myself I’ll admit and I’m planning on making more posts about characters other than hot potatwink soon- and she deserves more attention!

I’m so excited to hopefully get a Thaisha cold open and I really hope it’s a solo focus on her, I like her so much and I need more. Also screw anyone complaining about the fact we got Druid lore instead of fighting the druids I WANT THE DRUID LORE INSTEAD OF UNNECESSARY COMBAT THANKS.
