I can't believe I forgot this existed but there is something called a Queerplantonic Relationship which fits perfectly what I want for Grace's relationship with Rocky and Adrian during his time as a human.

For context I want to keep human Grace being aroace but I also want him to have a plantonic relationship with Rocky and Adrian, so this fits perfectly with the lore.

While human Grace was in a queerplantonic relationship with Rocky and Adrian, fossilized eridian Grace however isn't aroace like human Grace.

Since fossilized eridian Grace is technically clone born from human Grace despite having the same-ish DNA, same traits and same memories but has occasional dissociation to past human life.

So fossilized eridian Grace will get into an actual relationship with Rocky and Adrian, not a plantonic one which is a win for the two.
