These idiots keep talking about “breaking down gender barriers” but the second that a person acts outside their gender norm they get thrown into a brand new category, which is a biproduct of all the new, stupid genders that are being created.

If they just looked at this as “this guy is a guy who wears makeup” then it ceases to be a fucking issue. Being a guy who does traditionally girly things does not make you a new gender, being a girl who does traditionally manly things does not make you a new gender.

Let guys do things outside their gender roles and remain men.  Let women do things outside their gender roles and remain women.

I feel like the world needs to know the context of the edinburgh zoo penguin parade, becausr I’ve been going there my entire life and I only found out about this the other year.

So a while back (I can’t remember exactly when but I think it was some time around the 40s/50s), a bunch of penguins escaped. A keeper left the gate open so a bunch of penguins just… followed them. And the people loved it. Look at these adorable birds outside their cage just following that guy around! So they get all the penguins back inside and realise that none of them really ran off, they just followed the keeper and went back inside and crowd thought it was amazing, so why not make it a regular thing? Get enough people there that if one of them goes to make a run for it (which at least one has in the past), they can’t get past the people, and let the ones who want outside have a little wander. So every day, they get a crowd, they open the gate, and whatever penguins want to get out can go, waddle about, squawk at people, and then hop back inside.

Also, one of those penguins is Brigadier Sir Nils Olaf III, Colonel-in-cheif of the Norwegian King’s Guard. This isn’t really related to the parade at all, I just love the fact that there’s a penguin in the Norwegian army

As an almost 30 year old who’s parents just divorced just like 3 years ago, I can relate. For years my brother and I would ask my mom why she didn’t just divorce my dad, and her answer was because she didn’t want to do that to us when we were kids and then she would feel too guilty about what might happen to my dad. Both my brother and I would 100% have lived with my mom and had limited contact with my dad and she was worried about how this would hurt his feelings and he’s got depression so she was worried that he would kill himself and she couldn’t live with the guilt. Like seriously, I would have loved to grow up in a single parent household instead of my miserable childhood, because when the adults are miserable, how are the kids supposed to be anything but? They were both so much happier and better off after they divorced, it was ridiculous. Don’t stay together for the kids, it’s not good for anyone.

Kentucky: The state’s Higher Education Assistance Authority said it does not track how many default notices it sends to licensing agencies. Records from licensing boards show that 308 nurses and 223 teachers have had their licenses blocked in recent years.

Tennessee is one of the most aggressive states at revoking licenses, the records show. From 2012 to 2017, officials reported more than 5,400 people to professional licensing agencies.

Hawaii has a broad statute, enacted in 2002, that allows it to suspend vocational licenses if the borrower defaults on a student loan. But the state’s licensing board has never done so, said William Nhieu, a spokesman for Hawaii’s Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs, because no state or federal student loan agencies have given it the names of delinquent borrowers.

Officials from Alaska, Iowa, Massachusetts and Washington also said their laws were not being used. Oklahoma and New Jersey eliminated or defanged their laws last year, with bipartisan support.
