Tumblr staff just terminated 3 of my friends

@analog-delight, @sapphireh3art, and @puppiesthoughtsgobrrrr, in the span of a few minutes.

They aren't even hiding it this time, they claimed no reason for the termination. "For any reason, or none at all."

Staff is transmisogynistic and is targetting trans women and their allies on purpose. They are all but admitting to this here.

By my count we're at 6 accounts (overwhelmingly transfems) terminated in the last ten minutes, most if not all with the same "For any reason, or none at all", bullshit justification.

Tumblr staff is currently running a banwave of trans women, terminating them without justification.

I've been told of more than ten more girls banned, in the same timeframe. @yay-bunnies was banned too.

I've been told that all followers of a now terminated blogs were banned, so it's safe to assume that someone on staff just went down the list of a tgirl's blog and banned all of them.

if a social service was actually good and left homeless people with some kind of autonomy, the majority would take that opportunity in a heartbeat. the fact that you have to destroy their tents and force them with police violence to go to shelters should tell you something about what shelters are like for most homeless people.

One of Mamdani's campaign promises was to end encampment sweeps because he knows they're inhumane and ineffective. He's walking back on his own campaign promise so I'm not sure why people are defending him in the comments lol

Encampment sweeps are a net harm in every single way and yes even during extreme weather events. Of the 19 people who died outside during the last storm, none were found in encampments

Not to sound like a conspiracy theorist but with homelessness, loitering, and sleeping in public being crimes, plus removing encampments that allow homeless people to support each other, leading them to need to commit more crimes in order to survive, with no other supports to turn to...

i've seen many of you on my dash reblog fundraisers and campaigns from palestinians, especially those that have been vetted and verified. it's a massive help for those families. but today i want to talk about the person behind the verification: mohammed ayesh @moxayesh who has done the legwork to make sure these campaigns are legit.

unfortunately his own campaign is struggling. as many of you may know, mohammed has recently gotten married! he and his wife farah are trying their best to start a new life with a fresh start. their campaign goal is $10k, of which they currently have $3211. you can donate to them on chuffed here.

i also want to mention mohammed's little brother, yaser @yaseergaza. yaser is hard of hearing and has a cochlear implant. however due to the situation in gaza, he often struggles to keep his cochlear implant charged, and he has also had to discontinue his speech therapy sessions. he is trying to raise funds so that he can continue looking after his health, and currently has $695 out of a total goal of $10k. you can donate to him on chuffed here.

It’s Duke Thomas appreciation day today I decided

conflicted between a deaged cass who is not pleased at being away from her father or a deaged cass who is delightfully curious in a way that makes everyone want to put their heads into a mulcher

NO BECAUSE I DO BELIEVE IT WOULD BE BOTH... like deaged Cass would probably be delighted at first with meeting new people (it's not like she was completely isolated, since we know she trained with others). She'd try to beat them up first but maybe after a while when Bruce & Babs and whoever are very clearly Not Beating Her Up, she'd calm down and start to explore. And they'd give her everythingggg they'd give her stuffies and make a huge pile of burgers and tall glasses of milk and soft PJs like just heap stuff upon her because that's baby Cassie. And for a few hours it would be perfect, she'd be so happy encountering all these new things and Bruce & Babs would still be sick to their stomachs but at least they're giving this little girl a sliver of normal happiness.

And then she'd start losing interest and looking towards the door. And then they'd just have to watch as she starts looking around, looking for something, and the gut wrenching pain when they realise just WHO she is looking for.... I'M GOING TO PUT MY OWN HEAD IN A MULCHER
