early shifttok wasnât wrong about counting during your attempt!! i know it may seem boring, but just hear me out for a second. when youâre counting and then suddenly find yourself questioning what number youâre on, thatâs actually the perfect moment to shift. okay, i lied, any moment is perfect. but hopefully you get my point!!
because in that sleepy state, youâre more likely to let go of resistance, things start to feel less controlled, you stop overthinking, you stop checking if itâs working, and it just becomes overall easier for you to let go of trying. because youâre not trying to shift, youâre simply directing your awareness to your dr. naturally, without any resistance. âčđč
Struggling to understand how you just shift your awareness?
Just seen this vid on tik tok and I love the sort of explanation they used.
Because it really is that simple.
All I ask you to do is to put your hand out in front of you. Put your focus onto it.
Then, I want you to move your focus over to what's behind your hand.
Bingo. You've already done it.
You've just shifted your awareness.
Shifting is the same concept. You are becoming aware of something that already exists. Even if it's not right in front if you that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Just right now, your focusing on here.
Focus on your dr just as you focused on the surrounds behind you're hand. It really is THAT simple.
This popped up on my fyp from ennyshifts on tik tok đ looks like she has a tumblr too and i'd def check it out she's very well spoken.
"How I became a master shifter (+ why methods aren't working for you"
Hello! I've been seeing a lot of disinformation lately, and I've noticed that some people might need help, so I wanted to chime in. I can shift whenever I want, and I see a LOT of limiting beliefsâbut I understand because I was once on the other side.
Disclaimer: This is all based on my personal experience with how I became a master shifter.
You'll want to read everythingâit's important.
(!!!!! This isnât an original post of mine, I donât remember where I found it but itâs from a deactivated acc and I donât know if she/heâs in another acc on here!!!)
I first shifted around March 2022. I would always use methods. I would affirm, tell myself I was detached from this reality, and so on. During my very first shift, I literally affirmed all night long (if this sounds familiar, it's because I used to have another blog here, lol). You know, really complicated stuff. Then... things changed. I couldn't shift anymore. I kept using the same methods, but they didn't work!
That's when I started questioning everything about shifting and consciousness.
Why was it that I could be in another reality where things like magic exist, but then suddenly I couldn't shift anymore? Why were the methods, like lucid dreaming or the void, seemingly more powerful than the act of switching realities itself? Why, when I shifted from my Desired Reality to my Current Reality, all I needed to do think of my CR to shift backâbut it didn't work the other way around?
None of it made sense! And I'm sure many others have asked themselves these same questions.
I came up with two theories:
1. This reality has something unique compared to the infinite other realities. To shift from here, you need something extra, like a method.
2. There's something else at play, something unrelated to the realities themselves.
I dismissed the first option.
There's nothing inherently special about this reality. So why do we use methods here but not in our DRs?
Then, I thought back to how l used to shift... detaching from my body, affirming until I shifted. It all aligned with my subconscious beliefs. The method didn't work because that's how shifting works, but because it made sense to my subconscious. Of course I would shift if I did these thingsâbecause that's what I believed shifting required.
Well... kind of. As I said, it made sense because it aligned with my beliefs. So when the method failed, I wasn't letting myself shift.
Did you catch that? I didn't It myself shift. Of course, it wasn't the method. At what point do you actually shift? Is it when you affirm? Do you really think the universe is just waiting for you to say the right thing cnough cimes before it switches
No. It's you.
So, you have two choices:
1. Find a method that truly aligns with your beliefs, or
2. Change your subconscious beliefs.
Changing your beliefs might seem hard, but I'm going to explain why it's not as difficult as it feels.
All your life, you've had certain beliefs, but those beliefs came from somewhere. You weren't born thinking you need methods to shiftâit's something that developed over time. Which means it's not set in stone. It can be changed.
I realized that every reality holds the same weight. There's NOTHING you can do in this oneâno intrusive thoughts or negative emotionsâthat can stop you. Why? Because those thoughts and emotions are products of this reality. Shifting is simply changing what you're aware of. That's literally it. Anything outside of that can't stop you.
Yes, we've all seen those posts saying things like, "Oh, you're not focused enough" or "You spend too much time on X, Y, Z" or even "You don't go outside enough" (I legit read this on hereây'all are wildin'). Are you in your DR thinking "Oh, I thought about failing to shift, it means I won't :(*? Of course you aren't! But nothing can stop you from shifting. Nothing can stop you from being aware that you are a master shifter.
"So, how do you become aware of that?
I started affirming throughout the day. I would tell myself these things:
âą I'm pure consciousness. I create my reality, and everything around me is just what I choose to perceive.
âą I'm a master shifter. I don't need methods. All I need to do is choose to shift, think of my DR, and it happens.
âą Nothing in the 3D can stop me from shifting, because I'm in the 4D and pure consciousness."
I told myself these things constantly, and I truly understood what I was affirming. What being pure consciousness and being a master shifter actually meant. I stopped using methods. I stopped acting like this reality was special compared to the ones I wanted to be in. And then... it happened.
I shifted. During the day. I simply thought of my DR, told myself, I want to shift, and there I wasâin my DR. It happened because, as I said, my subconscious beliefs changed and then manifested in my reality. The same way they did when I believed I needed methods.
Naturally, I stopped using methods. I stopped trying to shift. I no longer thought, Okay, tonight I'm going to shift, and I'm going to use X method.
Because that's not how you think or act when you're a master shifter. I let goâwhy would I bother using a method before sleeping when I could just stand up, think about my DR, and be there? Why would I bother doing a method before falling asleep when I knew I'm a master shifter?
I allowed myself to shift. It was me! When people ask, What method did you use? What did you do to shift? â do you really, truly believe it's the method that makes you shift? Of course you do, because you live in a reality that seems logical, and you apply that logic to shifting.
But shifting isn't logical! It just happens! I have no idea whyâit's literally just magic to meâbut that's how it works.
So, you need to understand:
You make it happen. That's a good thing, right? It means you don't need methods, and you don't need to keep searching for "the key.â
"Anyway, I hope this helps someone. (Also yes, before you tell me, I know this is basically Law Of Assumption. But I wanted to explain it in more of shifting terms)
(Also if someone wants to post this to another social you have my permissionâespecially reddit since I was active in that community but I deleted my ace lol)"
You actually shift every night, but thereâs a catch
A genius theory that came to me Of course, there are a lot of details to consider here, but the theory is built on a simple "what if..."
The main idea: What if you actually shift to your DR every single night, but you're just asleep there, and then you wake up here?
Picture this: you do a shifting method and fall asleep. You don't remember the exact moment of falling asleep, and even if you do, it doesn't really matter because you're still falling asleep in this reality. So, you've fallen asleep, but your intent to shift is still active. Once you fall asleep in your CR, your consciousness actually shifts. But what if your consciousness shifts into a body in your DR that is also asleep? Essentially... you're just shifting from one sleeping body to another.
Why don't we wake up there immediately?
I want to point out that shifting doesn't necessarily mean "waking up" in your DR, and your DR body can be in any state. You can become aware in another reality at any given moment, even mid-conversation or during any other activity. Many people believe you have to wake up there, but thatâs not true. Speaking from my own experience here.
Sleep itself is a "mode switch" for your consciousness, where you turn inward rather than outward. Suddenly, I asked myself: where is our consciousness even located when we sleep? Does it leave the body? (Weird and stupid questions are the foundation of understanding).
So, it's still "inside" our body, just in a different mode. Therefore, shifting is still possible: consciousness moves to the exact point where the "energy" of your intent was directed before you fell asleep.
Honestly, any claims about consciousness are debatable because its true nature hasnât been fully figured out yet. But let's reason based on what we currently know. And let's not forget we are in a shifting community, where any theory could be someone's ultimate truth.
Why don't you wake up in your DR after sleeping?
Consciousness returns to its default "spawn point"âour current reality. It has lived here for X amount of time, so of course, your awareness is much more likely to stay within one reality rather than jump around like fleas on a dog. This is precisely why you donât get memories from your DRâyou don't consciously interact with them.
And if you saw your DR or s/o in a dream, why not view those as actual dreams from your desired reality? You don't have to write it off as just a "shifting sign" or a brain game. What if they were dreams experienced in your other reality? Iâve had this theory for a while, and I'm finally getting around to dumping this post.
The foundation of the entire theory
And this is where... hypnopompia enters the chat! Itâs that state between sleep and waking up, when you're kind of asleep but also kind of awake. This is the moment when the reality "loads," and if your awareness is directed toward your DR, that's the one that will load. Can you control this? Absolutely. Hypnopompia lasts anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes. And if you catch this exact moment and consciously lock your focus on your DRâsuccess is guaranteed.
this method is very simple. it's for people who don't feel like organizing a whole method or putting in a lot of effort(because you don't need to), and people who have very messy brains that are always thinking and never shut up. it's all about affirming and optionally visualizing.
step 1 : get comfy. lay down, go to bed, do it awake, eyes opened, idc. whatever position works best for you.
step 2 : start affirming. "holy shit i'm in my DR!! this is crazy i actually shifted, oh my goody goodness this is for real!!!" exactly like that, i'm not kidding literally just go crazy with it.
step 3 : Now as your affirm, start to throw in what is currently happening in your DR, you can visualise as well, but you don't have to!
if your shifting to an mha DR for example "holy moly i'm recieving my first tailored hero suit!!! holy moly i'm getting ready for training!! blah blah whatever you want"
and now just do that till you shift or whatever, you can also do this for reaching the void state or any other state you want if you so please!
this method helps me a lot as someone who has a LOT of thoughts, my own thoughts overlap sometimes and doubts, getting sidetracked, etc can be a big problem for me. this method helps a lot, if you're thoughts are loud, you just have to be louder, yknow. so yeah.
have fun shifting!
for my shifters who are wanting out of here ASAP, i want you guys to focus your energy and attention on how relieving itâll feel to be in your dr instead of focusing so heavily on wanting to escape.
itâs a slight difference but you may be surprised by the result.
one energy is aligned with desire, connection and harmony while the other is aligned with fear, hopelessness and pressure. but you have no reason to be afraid because you are limitless. this world may seem huge and overwhelming when you think of yourself as just one little thing but you are everything. you are everywhere. your energy is imbued in everything you touch and you can harvest it any time. you can call back your power at any time. you donât have to feel like youâre begging to be let out. you are already free.
The I.K. Method âË⥠is a sensory-based shifting technique created specifically for the ADHD brain and those with Aphantasia. Rest assured, the technique was created to fit EVERYBODY. Let me tell you, the only skill you need is bluff because we will lie throughout the process. I think it will please âlazyâ folks because as one of them, I made it as simple as possible. So here's the sauce!
âź â â Level 1: The Spark (The "Wait, What?" Technique)
The brain is often stuck in a "loop" of birth reality intrusive thoughts (Especially the ADHD brain). To break this, you use the "Wait, What?" technique.
- The Action: Ask yourself a question that assumes you are already in your Birth Reality or Waiting Room.
- Examples: "Wait, why is the lighting so much softer than this in my WR?"
- The Goal: This forces the brain to "search" for a memory that hasn't even happened yet in the 3D, effectively "hooking" your consciousness into the Manifested Reality data stream.
For someone with Aphantasia, we skip "seeing" and move to "knowing." This is the Non-Visual Map.
- Spatial Awareness: Mentally acknowledge where objects are in your DR relative to your current body. Like at home you can direct yourself even with the lights off. For example; "The desk is to my left. The door is behind me." You don't need to see them; you just need to know they are there.
- Then, we use our senses: Take a physical sensation you feel right now (the hardness of a chair, the warmth of the room) and relabel it.
âThis hardness isn't the living room couch; itâs the wooden bench in my BR.â (BR=birth reality, used instead of CR because CR affirms you haven't shifted)
- The Optional âNarratorâ: If your mind wanders, narrate your actions in the third person. "They are sitting in the WR now, feeling the air change."
This is the core movement of the I.K. Method. It uses the vestibular system (your sense of balance and weight) to trigger the shift.
The Sinking Descent (100 â 0)
- Use Case: Mostly to shift but you can do whatever you want.
- The Process: Count backward from 100 (I am assuming I am not the only one who imagines a downward movement when I count downward- or I might just be weird). With every number, feel your body becoming heavier.
- The Transition: By the time you reach 0, feel the floor vanish. You "sink" or "fall" through your current seat and land directly into the texture of your DR seat/bed.
âËàż OR âËàż
The Floating Ascent (0 â 100)
- Use Case: Recommended for reaching the Void State or shifting while staying awake mostly but you can use it as an asleep method too.
- The Process: Count upward from 0 (Same here!). With every count, feel a layer of weight "peeling off" your body. Until you become faceless and formless. (Particularly effective for the Void)
- The Transition: By 100, you feel yourself floating upward, disconnected from your physical body, entering the weightless blackness of the Void.
Failsafe: The âDesired Assumptionâ Technique
For my folks who fear their Birth Reality distraction. In this method you should simply relabel them (you gotta be creative!) Like, if you hear a fan, assume it is a coffee machine in your DR (go all in with the bluff!)
- The Rule: You never "stop" or "restart" because of a distraction.
And for mistakes in counting, pick up from the closest number you remember. The goal is relaxation and not to be worried.
this is by far one of the most well made, thought out, and overall well designed methods ive seen in a while. i hope you guys like this method as much as me and @linasweetgirl doË. á”á” âĄÖŽÖ¶â. đËàż đđËâË.
i cracked the code. oh my god. iâm literally typing this at like 1am pls!!
i canât even count how many times iâve given in to the small moments of comfort from this reality, making me procrastinate shifting. not by choice, but subconsciously. because whether itâs something that is going to happen in the next few days, weeks, or even months (!!) i always find myself prioritizing those over shifting to my new reality. even if theyâre the smallest things ever.
such as watching this new animated stranger things show next week. because somehow, my ego wants me to stay for another week to watch that. no bitch! that shit is happening in my new reality as well. and iâm not lying when i say that the idea of solving my sudoku almost sounded more appealing than being in my new reality⊠get outâŠâŠ.
my point is. whenever i prioritize these small moments, itâs only because my ego wants me to stay in the comfort of this reality. not because my life is cupcakes and rainbows, but because itâs familiar. itâs like my ego whispers âdonât you want to experience this.. it sounds pretty nice, right.. you can wait a little bit longer..â even if staying here isnât something i want.
so thatâs exactly what iâm going to remind myself, that this feeling of comfort isnât coming from me. i simply shouldnât fall for it, because itâs a trap by my ego. if i keep listening to it, i will honestly be here forever lol, because there will always be moments in my life here that are going to sound appealing, but that doesnât make my new reality less important. âčđč
the everyday things you assume just⊠happen. theyâre engraved in your brain like this is how reality works.
lets say for example, that you put a song in your Spotify queue; you donât overthink it. you donât question it.
this is literally how your world works: you put the song in the queue, so of course itâs going to play. there's absolutely no doubts involved. when the new song starts to play after the current song ends, you barely register it.
âoh yeah, I queued that earlier.â. you probably donât even consciously think that â you just knew from the moment you added it that it would be next.
now apply this to manifesting. letâs say you want something; like perfectly polished, beautiful red nails. put that in your mental Spotify queue. thatâs setting the intention: I have the nails.
and then⊠you donât think about it at all.
the same way you donât obsess over your Spotify queue. you already put it there, so it has no choice but to show up.
and you might say,
âof course the song plays, thatâs not manifesting, thatâs just how the app works.â
but donât you realise?
this whole world runs on your assumptions. you assumed the song would play, so it did. no doubt. no resistance. no secondâguessing.
thatâs manifesting.
something as simple as putting a song in your Spotify queue is you expecting reality to follow through: and it does.
congrats.
youâve been manifesting this entire time without even realising it.
now apply this mindset to everything you desire xx
i told a shifter this recently and think it could apply for yâall too. enjoy ;)
so just because the dreams stopped doesnât mean your connection to the dr stopped. you are never separate from your dr so itâs time to adopt that mindset. what i recommend for you is asking yourself how you felt when you were âprogressingâ in the physical sense (ie getting dreams, feeling symptoms and such) and then ask if you continued doing the same routine because it felt good OR because it got you results. if you only did it because it got results, you then need to ask if the routine can feel good without the results. if it can feel good, then stick with it because the determining factor of shifting is how relaxed and safe you feel to allow the shift. but if youâre hopped up on results, you have to change how you view them. results arenât ONLY things you receive in the 3d, theyâre mindset changes. you have to come to grips with the fact that youâre in charge here, and looking to the 3d to always tell you if youâre doing good in your journey will delay it overall. your journey is meant to be determined by you. so the goal is to feel good -> receive results. NOT receive results -> feel good -> stop receiving results -> feel frustrated. whenever you get slightly frustrated in shifting, itâs important to remind yourself of the real goal: âdo i feel good doing this routine or not?â if you donât feel good you know itâs time to change it for something better! and it can change every day! just go with the flow.
If imagination is the one true reality, then why are you still depending on the physical to tell you what you have or don't have. If imagination is the only truth there is, that means everything that exists outside of it is false. That means that the physical reality is false. So why are you still in the big 2026 using the physical to tell you what is true for you or not.
If it's in your imagination (everything and anything is possible in imagination) then it is true. The moment you are aware of your "desires." The moment your desired reality comes into your awareness then that is the truth. Anything outside of that is false. Nothing else is required. It is done. Creation is finished.
sometimes you have to allow the dr to get a little boring so that it naturally gets taken off the pedestal you initially had it on. i learned this the hard way. i used to switch drs if a breeze blew by too quickly and it did nothing to help my intention or keep me clear headed on where i actually wanted to go. if youâre like me and you have a bunch of drs, just try to stick to one for 2 weeks at least and during that time, actually set intention to shift.
itâs not always genuine boredom that youâre feeling but familiarity and being familiar with your dr can help your nervous system in allowing you to actually shift there. remember that when youâre making a new habit or practice, your mind can sometimes reject it because it wants things to stay the same. when new habits replace old ones, youâll be thrown curveballs in an attempt to keep you in the same place. even if itâs illogical! even if shifting is something you really want! so try to work with your comfort level instead of against it. <3
hii shay, i feel like my inability to pick one dr to focus on is interfering w my ability to shift . like i will change my mind multiple times and sometimes i get to the point where im supposed to shift and i genuinely cant decide and i end up not attempting properly or at all. how do i fix this?
i struggle with this at times too bestie. it is normal and isnât affecting your ability, but your intention may be muddied. from my perspective, it comes from a subconscious want to choose âcorrectlyâ. iâm assuming you havenât had a âfull shiftâ yet, so subconsciously, you may hold that âfirstâ shift on a pedestal, therefore you have pressure to choose the ârightâ dr to fit your first shift experience. we all have expectations on what we want our shifts to be like so the illusion of choice can become overwhelming when thereâs so many options in front of us. but know this: you can shift to them all. in one night. so you donât necessarily have to choose.
you can simply say, âi intend to wake up in my dr, whichever dr that may be.â and then just visualize and focus on the feeling of being there. you donât need to see the exact place to feel the connection of it. and if visuals begin to show up, donât distract yourself by trying to figure out which dr they belong to. instead, allow your curiosity to guide you deeper into the sense, allow your imagination to feel embodied by the visual.
if youâre practicing law of assumption and your manifestation hasnât come in âx amount of timeâ itâs only because the assumption isnât solidified as your state yet. it doesnât have to mean youâre doing anything wrong or that you have to question everything. donât catastrophize why it hasnât shown up in the 3d. just allow yourself a little more time. our minds can be stubborn. keep persisting.
doing a challenge with my honey bunches of oats from today - april 20th (my birthday) on affirming. now yâall know iâm not a robotic affirmer BUT i am committing to this challenge with her to prove that we are the operant power and that persisting in the state is all you need. i implore you guys to join me!!! this is a shifting + self concept challenge so you can use any affirmation you want in the beginning as long as the last 2 sentences are the same⊠those sentences being:
âI trust my power completely. What I decide becomes real.â
the rules of the challenge are simple:
affirm this to yourself either out loud, in your head, or through a voice tape (parrot is a great app for this!)
affirm every single day until april 20th (as many times as you want)
feel your emotions but understand that they do not have power over your manifestation showing up
and watch your desires come into your reality!
so letâs all do this together and get our shifting summer started early eh? đž okay, iâll see myself out nowâŠ
